Have to wonder if Ott is playing hurt, based on the Lindy comment the other day, or already has fallen into the veteran comes in and his numbers drop while playing for Lindy camp.

Agreed. I just don't want him to regress now by trying to be Jochen Hecht. Or have Lindy pound out of him his scoring ability.

See, I'm using the same reasoning the other way around. I haven't given up on watching the Bills; so why would I even think about not watching the Sabres? The Sabres have been much more entertaining over the years.

He'll only evolve if he gets word that Lindy has been or soon will be no longer head coach. (I wanted to say fired; but I would not be surprised if Lindy takes on another job with the Sabres instead.) He's a company man through and through.

Anyone calling into the Sylvester show saying Lindy needs to be fired is like someone going up to Ronald McDonald and saying Wendy's is better.

I would blame Raziel for the outcomes this weekend - but the Sabres have sucked before that.

If you want to go the old Sabres route - Phil Housley and see if Mike Ramsey will come back. But we all know that Lindy isn't going anywhere.
