Not sure if this was posted - it's not a slug; but a flannel moth caterpillar.

Bit of a surprise as the Sabres D options have been reduced. From my 2 minute research of him it seemed he was a solid defensive dman who steps up his game in the playoffs.
James Mirtle @mirtle 4m
Kings have re-signed defenseman Robyn Regehr to a two-year contract extension.
Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger 13s
$6 mil for 2 years for Regehr. $3 mil per.
Obviously Rolston must be a sly guy - he is probably waiting for Tortorella & Vigneault to not get head coaching gigs and then he can get them to be his assistants.
4 assists in 12 games so far - but the Bruins are still playing.

With the #Bruins series win, the conditional 2nd round pick in the Jagr trade now becomes a 1st round pick. Good news for #DallasStars fans.
Well the plan I hope would to be to take a big contract off of another team which would then be amnesty bought out. In the process the Sabres would get a young talent or a top draft pick as compensation. Throw in Miller and Vanek into that mix as you see fit.
Do the Sabres have a VP of hockey operations? I guess Darcy as GM is the highest hockey operations person so first he would have to also be the president of hockey operations before he could hire a vp.
Just the typical pessimistic Buffalo fan belief. :(
I can see Darcy not getting the return he wants for Miller and then also not wanting to spend the money that Enroth will want with his new contract.
To get the #1 pick; silly. :)
Recent rumors indicate Colorado might be willing to drop as far back as #4. So the Sabres would probably have to make the deal to get into the top 4. Of course then they probably would be fine and not care about moving to #1.
