Given his performance since he spoke up previously, he seems to lack the necessary credibility. It’s difficult to demand more of your teammates when you're the one who sucks most.

I’d like to believe that, but how many times have we been there this season? We’ve seen them be engaged physically and mentally in several games and against the best teams in the league to boot only to see them screw the pooch in following games(s). I appreciate the offensive explosion as much as anyone, but we are woefully deficient on the back end and Levi is showing his own struggles with consistency as well. I refuse to believe they will turn a corner until they actually turn a corner.

I am not fooled in the least by tonight’s performance. Their flaws are on full display tonight. But it’s nice to run in to a team with worse goaltending than ours.

I’ve seen enough if Levi as he has forgotten how to play the position. He’s turned into a goalie spaz. We are so screwed at the goalie position for the foreseeable future.

Gee, I hope their widdle feewings weren’t hurt as they skated off. What a joke this team has become.

Looking like I’ll be pulling the plug early on this one. They are getting their butts handed to them again and they seldom turn that around. Dumb players making dumb plays. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Per the bold, much of the talent acquired by those great Bills teams was because they sucked in the early-mid 80s and they had more premium picks in the draft as a result whereas Josh has been at a disadvantage in that regard because we’ve been a later drafting playoff team in four of his first five years in the league. It’s just more difficult to add premium players to an already successful team nowadays. It’s a good idea not to because comparing players across eras is inherently flawed.

Those reminders are plastered in various adjacent rooms, hallways, meeting areas, cafeteria, etc. Also a ton of wall space devoted to important Sabres legacy teams, players, etc. None of that matters because it has to come from within the players themselves. If you don’t possess the necessary character, which includes every trait necessary for success, then you’re not gonna get any of that from signs and placards.

I guess it could be worse when I think of the San Marino soccer team that has only won ONE match in its 33 year history. And that was a friendly at that. But I guess being ranked last in the FIFA rankings is better than not being ranked at all. But I give them all the credit in the world because they compete their butts off every match, regardless.
