  1. Whoever is deserving of wearing the C is entirely up to the players in the room. What anyone around here projects onto that process is meaningless.
  2. He won’t be blocking Rousek, either.
  3. They’ll have to catch him first.
  4. And Johnson shrinks a little bit more.
  5. Sitting on the toilet? And dispensing wisdom Like Shoresy? I like it!
  6. It was a tongue in cheek comment meant to emphasize the very point you’re making. Certain players have already punched their ticket no matter what. KO is one of them. I agree his time may be managed this year, but he’s solid contributor in so many ways. And for what it’s worth to those having a fit about him, he isn’t blocking the likes of Savoie or Kulich as they aren’t slotted for 4th line slots, anyway.
  7. Yep. That leaves 22 other spots open for competition and may the best men win.
  8. Reading a few posts, I get the impression some don’t know the difference between leadership and babysitting.
  9. Thanks for taking a deeper dive into Z’s offensive numbers. I didn’t realize how UNterrible they truly are. Perhaps he should shoot more.😄 He has a drive that can’t be taught. We’ve mentioned numerous times here how, in a game his junior team in Latvia was losing by 11 goals in the third period of a game, he was still blocking shots, still trying to make a difference. I imagine that his coaches and teammates gotta love that kind of hockey character.
  10. Who on the Amerks sits to make room for Savoie? In the midst of a seven game playoff game winning streak, it may not be an easy decision for Appert. Or is it?
  11. I think Murray is destined to be a career AHLer because of that lack of speed. Is he gonna beat out an icing and feed the puck to a teammate for an easy empty netter like Girgs? Girgs may have no offensive finish in his game, but his speed and tenacity on the puck is valuable.
  12. I don’t deal in gotchas. I found it dismissive. Simple as that. And I already thanked you for the clarification you provided in those paragraphs you typed, for me, *at my request.* I’m out.
  13. It’s the temperamental olympics around here.😂
  14. Thanks for the clarification, but I didn’t get much, if any of that, from reading just the first line of the post I responded to as you suggested I needed to do in order to understand what you were saying. I was missing some valuable context, so again, thanks for providing it. It’s a good thing we can be wrong about things initially, change our perspective, and correct ourselves. It’s imperative for a growth mindset. Not for nothing, but for someone who previously professed to never dismiss anyone, your last sentence comes across as very dismissive indeed.
  15. Regarding that first line of the post I quoted, was I only supposed to address the issue as it pertains to the ignore feature and not the part about you being proven correct? Like I said, I must have missed some context as it relates to your exchanges with other forum members as they relate to the ignore feature. But I’m not interested in that anyway, only about the part about being proven correct about Eichel. Anyway, glad you proved yourself correct after altering your takes.
  16. Can you clarify please? Because I thought you initially said you’ve been proven correct about Eichel and then in a later post you said you were accurate about him only because you altered your takes. If I sound like I am “refusing to listen” perhaps it’s because I’m unclear on what, exactly, it is I’m listening to. There’s a good chance I’ve missed some context because I haven’t read every single one of your posts or the responses to them by other forum members. But hey, if it’s easier for you to simply dismiss me with an “alright” well then, alright.
  17. I agree. And I appreciated the Hershey broadcast team’s deference to the MSG audience as well. They weren’t homers and were quite effusive in their praise of the Amerks all gsme.
  18. So you’ve proven yourself correct to yourself then?
  19. KO would be the first one to sit himself down if his play slipped to the point he was hindering the team.
  20. Proven correct about what, exactly? That Eichel is a great hockey player?
