  1. He’s worse than a loser; he’s a quitter. I hope loyal Blackhawks let him hear it when he goes into self preservation, low effort mode in order to save himself for another trade.
  2. Playmaker is always a position of need. Always.
  3. Absolutely. He and the rest of the forwards are fortunate to have Granato’s insistence that they play free and unencumbered on offense. He’s the antithesis of Krueger in that regard and it’s not a surprise that so several players are now flourishing in his system.
  4. Skinner followed up his 33 goal, 30 assist “good” year in 2021-2022 with an even better 35 goal, 47 assist “good” year in 2022-2023, so the bold doesn’t hold water. Simple fact is he has never played on a line with as much talent at both center and wing as he has the past two seasons.
  5. Where have you been? The Sabres have already been eliminated from playoff contention.
  6. That’s really up to Power and what he prefers to do. Might be smarter for him to take a bridge in favor of a monster deal later on when the cap is higher as well.
  7. Noah Hanifan? As in Eichel’s bff? That Noah Hanifan? Why not. I’m sure Eichel would give a glowing recommendation. 😂 Hard pass.
  8. Kelly threw passes to Moulds in Moulds’s rookie year in ‘96. Including a couple TD passes.
  9. I can appreciate that. Gio and Vanek were must listen guests.
  10. I doubt Groot is buried behind Floyd or anyone else as the starting job is his to lose. When Miller returns Floyd is gonna be penciled in as a situational pass rusher and rotational depth player. He can bring a pass rush up field, but he is weak at the poa, not very good at setting an edge and can be a liability vs. the run as a result. That said, if we can build leads and play ahead later in games, he’s gonna he fun to watch when teams become one dimensional as result.
  11. I’ve read several posts saying Eichel was “right” about his surgery and the Sabres doctors were “wrong.” That is an unmitigated load of crap and only valid in hindsight which is a luxury the Sabres didn’t have at the time. When the inventor of the procedure, who has performed more of them than anyone on the planet and who teaches the technique to surgeons all around the world, advises against it, it’s not “wrong”; it is simply an extremely well qualified difference of medical opinion and that should be respected. And for the record, when Eichel did the Chris Weidman podcast, he flat out lied about how things went down. He said that the Sabres medical staff approved the ADR and then suddenly changed their mind. I know for a fact that Cappuccino and Co. were steadfast against it from the get go. I can only guess why Eichel chose to be deceitful about it.
  12. Haven’t listened to them since Jeremy Roenick suggested that the COVID vaccine caused Demar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest and Rivet saw fit to legitimize the idea. You couldn’t pay me to listen to them now.
  13. I think Lehner asked for the cash equivalent.
  14. Since he got here in 2020, Diggs has ranked 1st, 5th, and 5th in targets league wide. I’d say Allen and Co. understand how important he is to the scheme and essentially feed him until his hands bleed already.
  15. Yep. Went from little chance to no chance.
  16. Yeah, but how many OT winning goals did Hagg have, huh? How many?
  17. The league doesn’t have the balls.
  18. And there is no D in Cody Hodgson, either.
  19. Yep. It wasn’t just a good riddance, it was a great riddance. Perhaps the finest riddance of all time! 😂
  20. Sorry, but I don’t give a crap about players that didn’t want to be here for whatever reason why they didn’t want to be here so there’s no reason to dredge up that old argument. The Sabres sucked, the coaches sucked, the management sucked and he just couldn’t take it anymore. If a player checks out and doesn’t want to be part of the solution, especially after getting a long term lucrative commitment from the team he wants to quit on, then good riddance.
  21. He wanted out of Buffalo well before he injured his neck. He screwed his own pooch for his prime years here.
  22. He’s certainly one of them. Just another igmo who doesn’t know the difference between a quarterback and a passer.
  23. Who considered Allen a “write off bust?” Because nobody in the league, from scouts to pro personnel directors to GMs ever did. Not for a minute. You must be referring to those talking head pundits who manufactured a narrative to support their unfounded claims. Some of who still can’t admit they were wrong.
