The Bills, along with every other team that selected a WR before him, had good reason to pass on Worthy as he is strictly an off ball receiver and is scheme limited as a result. He is a great fit for Reid, not a great fit for us.

I see two reasons to discuss.

Right. So just waive him and bite his AAV. He is never gonna be the workhorse, 55 game starter in this league. He’s a backup 25 game goalie at best. At best. Let him get a fresh start somewhere else.

20 games two years ago. That’s the extent of his experience as a competent NHL goalie. The rest of his pro career, including the AHL, is less than mediocre. If KA thinks teams are gonna line up for that and insists on waiting for the “right” deal, good luck. But in the meantime he shouldn’t be playing and that’s just a worst situation all the way around.

Perhaps, but he’s an Ellis-blocking anchor in the meantime. With his career numbers, what do you project we get in a trade? Imo, it’s little at best. He needs to be jettisoned.

Just waive UPL already. We aren’t getting anything worthwhile for him anyway. Just eat the 4.75m AAV.

Kozak is a legit NHL 4th line C. Has all the attributes one needs for that role. He ain’t going back to the A unless it’s for a conditioning stint when he comes off IR.

Sucks for Kozak who brings exactly what you need in a 4th line C. Would rather have seen Helenius brought up as he brings those same qualities, imo. Instead, we get a slow skater. Will Lindy move Krebs back to center on the 4th line now? EDiT: check that as I forgot Dunne is also a center and we can keep Krebs at the wing where he belongs.
