How can you have too many men on the ice when there are so many in the box? GO SABRES!!!

Gragnani - not re-signed by Vancouver, signed by 'Canes

Is that "they need D-men bad" or "they need bad D-men?" It would be just as effective for the Oilers to make a defenseman out of Nugent-Hopkins. GO SABRES!!! -

Git-r-done, Darcy! MAGs is that one player we need to put us over the top. GO SABRES!!! -
Thank God the Eagles signed Trent Edwards instead of keeping Vince Young. Otherwise, we never would even have had a chance to tap into all that pent up greatness just waiting to burst out of him. GO BILLS!!!

As to the reports about Glenn's alleged poor footwork, in the words of Doug Whaley a week ago: "That kind of foot athlete, you try him out at tackle." He's got great feet. Not to mention 36" arms to go along with those good feet. Of course he's got technique issues but so do all LTs not taken in the top 5. He's Buddy's Marcus McNeil 2.0. He's a left tackle from day one. GO BILLS!!!

If? He lives for trolling. GO SABRES!!!

Reggie Corner is a FA and there is no indication the Bills wanted to re-sign him anyway. He was brought back last season after being cut because of injuries. There IS a need for CBs. We will be in a nickel or dime half the time and even more so against the Pats*. This gives us the 12 rated player on the Bills' board and, coupled with the additions to our DL in FAgency, really should help our woeful pass defense. Gilmore has a great resume after starting 40 games since his freshman year in the toughest conference in the country. He's most likely the day one starter but with Florence and a healthy McGee (big if), they can just have him play the sub packages at first if they decide to do that. First goal has to be winning the division. To do that you beat the Pats*. To do that, you need a defense that can pressure the QB and a secondary that can take advantage. Gilmore helps us a ton in this regard. I'd have gladly taken Keuchly as well. Ironically, heavy rumors persisted that the Panthers really wanted Gilmore as well. GO BILLS!!!

He's 6'1", 195. Revis, by comparison is 5'11" and three pounda heavier. He's not a small CB at all. GO SABRES!!!

Inglorious Bastard. GO SABRES!!!

As far as the death of synthetic constructs and demands of the truth? Yes. Very Shakespearean. chz can bring the prose when she decides to. As for vibrational stagnation? Sounds like a battery problem. GO SABRES!!!

I can't believe that immature dweeb threw the Sedins and the entire Canuck team under the bus like that. Not to mention the entire city of Vancouver. I can only hope his dad hires an indigenous Canadian to beat him senseless. GO SABRES!!!

Well, that's what the Mayan's predicted. Drane bases his on the Book of Revelation, at least from what I can gather from his posts in 2008. I'm pretty sure he's a big fan of the movie, 'The Late Great Planet Earth' as well. GO SABRES!!!

You forgot Team Sanctimonious. Hey, any rational fan, and I know that can be a stretch, is a member of all of these teams at one time or another. At least I am, depending on how much the Sabres are pissing me off at the moment, especially during a frenzied game. It really comes down to two teams: team optimistic or team pessimistic. If one chooses to wallow in misery, so be it. But it IS a choice. Let's be clear. When a fan deliberately insults my intelligence because of a FREE choice that I made to remain optimistic, especially about people and events NONE of us have ANY control over, then he has crossed the line. Those fans would be the charter members of Team Douchebag. GO SABRES!!!

Don't EVER joke about the apocalypse with Drane around. He's actually prophesied the end of days in other forums in these parts. Even gave us some 'end times' events and other clues of what to look for and everything. That said, has anyone ever seen Cody Hodgson riding a white horse? GO SABRES!!!

That's the quote from the Vancouver Sun article on the front page as well. GO SABRES!!!

Good point about the Roberts angle. Hodgson already possesses something I've yet to see in Kassian: a burning work ethic. Drane is just pissed (this time) because NONE of his predictions regarding the trade have yet to come to fruition. Not one. Indeed, the fact that Kassian got less and less ice time during the season until finally being benched in the most important game of the season shows just how far off the mark he was. DeLuca is just pissed because, well, he's DeLuca. That's just how he rolls and trolls. Gillis is just trying to save face as best he can. The trade wasn't popular since day one and criticism grew as Kassian played worse. The fact he had to throw a 21 year old rookie under the bus to do so says a lot about him. His team just isn't good enough. I would have asked Gillis who the other five players were that he would have traded Hodgson for, if not Kassian. More I think about it, he paid Cody quite the compliment, actually. Sunshine and kittens. Glass half full. It's a great day to be a Sabres fan. GO SABRES!!!

Now why would you say that when it's so clear that Vigneault has 'unruined' him? Clearly Kassian just needed to get out from under Lindy's yoke and provide the Canucks with his Lucic-like grit and propel them to the cup. It's not cool to disrespect The Concept like that. GO SABRES!!!

Gotta love your dedication. First few weeks of the off-season and you're still hittin' the weights, training hard, and maintaining your fine mid-season form. Keep up the good work. GO SABRES!!!

Ironically, it appears that the very person that accused DR of overvaluing his players earlier in the season, did the very same thing with one of his own in the form of Burke offering up Schenn for Hodgson and getting turned down by the Canucks. That Burke is a genius. GO SABRES!!!

And we all saw how King Henrik looked when his D left him out to dry on those odd man rushes. The Rangers are built for playing with a lead, though. I'll give them that. GO SABRES!!!

I think Hodgson played his best game as a Sabre last night. He really seems to be settling in and making very good decisions with the puck. I love the idea of Vanek getting healthier just in time to build great chemistry with a center that knows how to manage the game. GO SABRES!!!

Russ Brandon has nothing to do with the day to day running of the football side of the business. Nix, Whaley, Gailey, etc. are very good football people in charge. GO SABRES!!!

Why don't the people here post on TSW? Is there a reluctance to add to the conversation there? I find it curious. GO SABRES!!!

That's a very interesting point and you may well be on to something. I remember the reports after he came back from his suspension in juniors saying that he just kind of plateaued. Many said it was because he didn't have anything left to prove at that level. And that's absolutely correct. But he was never this big, aggressive checker so much as just such a physically superior player that when he did hit it usually resulted in a thunderous crunch. GO SABRES!!!

Now that is some funny stuff right there. GO SABRES!!!
