Agreed. Just be hard to play against, every shift, and he's doing his job. No need for he extr-curricular stuff out there. GO SABRES!!!
-
I like to think of it as an arena half full. GO SABRES!!!
-
Does it really matter? It was cheap and uncalled for, regardless. But losing Kaleta for any length of time isn't gonna put a dent in our playoff chances. GO SABRES!!!
-
Well, I gotta disagree with Peters here. The talent isn't there. At least not enough. Not yet, anyway. And THAT takes the heart out of your team; when you KNOW, no matter how hard you try, you just aren't as good as the guy across from you. GO SABRES!!!
-
No doubt he has a lot to offer. I just want my Perreault, Gretzky, Lemieux, or Crosby. Is that asking too much? GO SABRES!!!
-
Meh. I want one of those once in a generation, transcendent players. Or two. Seems we have enough Reinhardt types already. GO SABRES!!!
-
Stripping the A off Stafford will tear this team apart. GO SABRES!!!

Color me confused. When I said I don't find him responsible at all for our current record, I mean all I have to go by is his interim run last season, which I don't hold him responsible for at all. Starting Wednesday, I will hold him highly, but not solely, responsible for our W L record moving forward. GO BILLS!!!

Yep. Pure elegance. Gonna miss this show a ton. Looking forward to the Better Call Saul prequal.

This made me chuckle. Oh, and I agree entirely. Ott until Girgensens is ready. GO SABRES!!!
-
I agree with those that think Vanek is too moody to be a captain. There's a difference between being pissed at the way the team is performing and being visibly frustrated with how things are going for you on the ice. Ott for the C until Girgs is ready. And there is no doubt in my mind that Girgs will be ready sooner than later. You just can't teach the will to block shots when you are 11 goals down in a game. Hodgson may not like being an "A" so he will just have to duck when Girgs chucks the boombox across the room after a poor effort by the boys. GO SABRES!!!

Reading some of the fan chatter from Cleveland, they aren't too upset to see "Mr. 3.5" as they call him, get traded. More interesting were the links to quotes from scouts saying the Colts panicked and overpaid and that they just should have signed McGahee instead. Personally, I agree here. Richardson is not that rare kind of RB that changes a game at any time. Just not a homerun hitter. Bottom line: we won't know anything about who got the better end of it until the picks are in and we see how they perform. GO BILLS!!!

Thanks for embedding the video chz. This is truly a full-service forum.

This Jimmy Fallon parody was posted over on the Off The Wall forum by Poojer. I know a lot of you here don't visit there often, if at all, so I thought I'd share this. If I knew how to embed the video properly I would. Anyway, here's the link to the youtube. Hilarious stuff for any fan of the show.

I gotta believe Hank and Gomey are dead. Gilligan foreshadowed that with the phone call from Hank to Marie. While I learned a long time ago NEVER to guess where this series is going, I'm thinking Jesse or Walt or both are forced to cook for the Aryan Brotherhood and Lydia's European market. That's the next war for Walt. And I believe Walt ends up going back to save Jesse. I'm still wondering who the ricin is for though.

Funniest post in the thread! "Yo! Quarters and pay phones, bitch!"
-
His defensive coverage is hard to spot, period. GO SABRES!!!
-
Jesse's transformation over the course of the plaza scene last night was fantastic drama. He went from scared of losing his life to "being the one who knocks" all in that scene. The camera shot looking up at him as he called Walt from the pay phone really drove home Jesse's transformation. He became much bigger all of a sudden. And I think it's so ironic that Hank seems to now be willing to go along with Jesse's plan.

This season is 4 for 4 so far. Jesse breaking bad (again), Hank and Marie breaking worse. Walt about to get his Heisenberg back on. I am really gonna miss this show. GO BILLS!!!
-
I see the same thing. ... And then I wonder, "What the phuck happened to me!" The forthcoming Hank interrogation of Jesse promises to be good, I think. Hank is gonna turn him and then all that guilt and self-loathing is gonna be directed at the one who caused it. Jesse will be back in a big way.

Damn, I gotta get away from that classical Greek drama, Shakespearean tragedy, and the like. They are sapping my soul. Seriously, the last thing 'Breaking Bad' does is glamorize meth.
-
Great stuff here. Nice to see such an elegant appreciation for this show. Lots of tasty food for thought. Thanks.
-
I read somewhere that the ending is gonna be that Walter goes into the witness protection program and in the final scene he is shown waking up as the dad on 'Malcom in the Middle.'

Strap it on tight. I guarantee this will be one of your favorite TV drama rides ever. It's a superlative show in EVERY respect.

I am of the opinion that Byrd, while one of the best in the game, lacks the sheer athleticism to impact the game on a play to play basis. Hell, it's difficult for the greatest free safeties to impact the game on play by play basis. I won't regurgitate the reasons I've expounded on ad nauseum in the Bill's forum, but I can well understand why they don't want to make him the highest paid safety in the history of the game. I also get the distinct impression that Byrd would take less from any other team vs. demanding the Bills make him the highest paid. GO BILLS!!!
