It’s the temperamental olympics around here.😂

Thanks for the clarification, but I didn’t get much, if any of that, from reading just the first line of the post I responded to as you suggested I needed to do in order to understand what you were saying. I was missing some valuable context, so again, thanks for providing it. It’s a good thing we can be wrong about things initially, change our perspective, and correct ourselves. It’s imperative for a growth mindset. Not for nothing, but for someone who previously professed to never dismiss anyone, your last sentence comes across as very dismissive indeed.

Regarding that first line of the post I quoted, was I only supposed to address the issue as it pertains to the ignore feature and not the part about you being proven correct? Like I said, I must have missed some context as it relates to your exchanges with other forum members as they relate to the ignore feature. But I’m not interested in that anyway, only about the part about being proven correct about Eichel. Anyway, glad you proved yourself correct after altering your takes.
-
Can you clarify please? Because I thought you initially said you’ve been proven correct about Eichel and then in a later post you said you were accurate about him only because you altered your takes. If I sound like I am “refusing to listen” perhaps it’s because I’m unclear on what, exactly, it is I’m listening to. There’s a good chance I’ve missed some context because I haven’t read every single one of your posts or the responses to them by other forum members. But hey, if it’s easier for you to simply dismiss me with an “alright” well then, alright.

I agree. And I appreciated the Hershey broadcast team’s deference to the MSG audience as well. They weren’t homers and were quite effusive in their praise of the Amerks all gsme.
-
So you’ve proven yourself correct to yourself then?
-
KO would be the first one to sit himself down if his play slipped to the point he was hindering the team.
-
Proven correct about what, exactly? That Eichel is a great hockey player?
-
A Billy Mumy classic.😂

I get the impression that KA and Co. actually preferred the 2nd round compensation once they explained to Johnson the career path they envisioned for him and Johnson rejected it. I think Johnson has a much higher opinion of his abilities than the Sabres’ brass does.
-
The actual TV broadcast on MSG was much better than the in-house CCTV feeds we normally get on AHL TV.
-
Are you saying that Eric Comrie is better than Eric Comrie?
-
Jobst with a snipe. 4 zip Amerks.
-
UPL bordering on Lehner bad.

I’ve been following the sport since the Bisons were the Rangers’ farm team in the A and I have no idea what you’re referring to. Please enlighten. Thanks.

Yay Hofer! Oops. Hofer lets in 4 of 5 in the shootout to lose it. And looked TERRIBLE doing it.
-
Hofer just spazzed. Hofer zero for two. Hofer lets in third in a row.
-
Sometimes it’s hard to tell. That said, it certainly appears team Canada coaches think less of him for whatever reason.
-
He was a 7th round pick who then went on to win two consecutive Richter awards as the best goalie in college hockey. I guess that doesn’t rate.
-
Does Levi really suck in practice or something? I mean WTF?
-
He needs to be gone from this tourney as well as all other IIHF tourneys. Just a cheap, chicken sh*t move.
-
In that case, Sabres fans are the happiest people in the history of the world.

The current broadcast deals have years left before they expire so the venue has no bearing on the billions the NFL gets annually from the various broadcasters. The networks do have certain technical requirements to support modern day telecasts, so there may be an issue with some stadiums around the country in that regard. As you implied, the big issue is the local revenues generated for teams at their home games. Corporate sponsors, suite owners, etc. pay a premium for home games and while ticket, concession, parking and other local revenues pale in comparison to broadcast revenues, they are still a significant factor to team bottom lines.
