I can’t believe it’s Thursday already. After 4 years of construction, the family next door finally moved into their new house. Thought I was finally going to have a quiet summer with no noise. Nope. The house behind me sold and they are doing a complete tear down. Why are there no arrow keys on an iPad keyboard? It’s really annoying.

I had no problem with the extra punch. Boston got away with so much than should have been allowed, if Tkachuk got in an extra one,… oh, well. That was awesome.

I can’t answer the drinking part, but I agree about the open ice part.

He might not be very good, but do people really believe that Jeff Skinner doesn’t play with heart? I find that weird. Early in the season, I felt that he was often the only one on the Sabres that played with any.

That was a pretty lame crosschecking call to end it. Really good teams get those calls, though. It doesn't hurt that the Rags are also really good with a solid goalie.

Yep. That interview this morning was maddening. He starts his answer to the cap question by saying spending has never been a problem(which is total crap but not my point) and then for the next ten minutes gives excuse after excuse on why he’s not going to do it. WEE’RE FKD …and yes, I know that there are 3Es in that.

My problem with this is that I don't see anything to differentiate our collection of "talent" and any other team's. I keep hearing about how much better they are going to end up, but I have yet to see anything that makes me believe that.

I completely and absolutely disagree with this. What we have now is not enough, not even close. My fear is that KA agrees with you and thinks that this team is just going to magically get better without doing something.

This does not fill me with hope. EDIT: After listening to this, hearing him actually speak these words instead of reading them have sapped even more hope from me. He's full of sh!t. Spending has been an issue! They want to win with what they have and I believe have no intention of spending the little extra it would take to win now. We're FKD!

Fans may have nothing to do with the outcome, but their reactions to the outcome can be (and often are) very embarrassing.

People really need to stop saying things like this (Not just you) With the way that Swayman is playing, I have seen nothing that tells me Boston isn’t capable of beating any team left. What did they say?

At this point, aren’t those all we care about now?

The only thing about this that makes me mad is that if it were a Sabre, there is no way KA would have spent the money and filled the spot with an actual player. He's too busy spending money on ghosts to get to the cap floor. Now, if the league wants to crack down on that, I'm all for it!
