  1. Completely different.
  2. Okay, you got me. Maybe not every thread.
  3. No, but it is ranting to think that they don't also see what's wrong, and if they do, are too stupid to see the solutions that you so plainly see, and let us know in every thread.
  4. Putting a team together entails way more than simply plugging numbers into an Excel spreadsheet. They are actual people playing this game and having to work together. The problem I have with your rants is that they strongly imply that our coaches just completely disregard stats. You don't know this. I have to believe that they absolutely know what the numbers say, but don't use them solely to make their decisions, and rightly so.
  5. I actually misread his post about primaried. I know that it was his first point, but not for lack of opportunities. He made that exact pass in the last game, Skinner just didn’t put it in. And being a distraction in front of the net is not without merit, and he’s been far from useless, even in the offensive zone with only one point.
  6. Not the first time this has happened this year. Not sure what it’s going to take for this narrative to die.
  7. 3pm game. I think you'll be fine.
  8. I'm not wrong yet.
  9. He hasn’t been an absolute drag on that line. He got the puck out of our zone several times creating the rush and he also made A beautiful saucer pass to Skinner right in the slot for a great chance. That line had their share of chances.
  10. It’s not even close.
  11. That was a fun game. The LOG line was great to watch once again. I think Kyle looked a lot like this last year, but now he has line mates that can match his play. It’s a blast to watch. If Risto made that play off the glass that McCabe made to try and clear the puck with a minute left, this board would have literally exploded (and by literally, I mean figuratively.) That tying goal is on him. Samson made a play at 12:15 in the second that showed just how good he is and nobody notices. It’s such a subtle play that is absolutely awesome to watch. He holds the puck in the corner while getting peppered by the defenseman, and when Jack comes in the puck just squirts out to his stick and they get a great scoring chance. It looks like a nothing play by him, but we’ve seen it to many times to think it’s a fluke. Great game by the two whipping boys, Scandinella and Sobotka. Even though he played well, I though both goals were kinda soft by Ullmark. That first one reminded me Willie Mays Hayes coming up short on his slide in Major League. I like hockey.
  12. I agree that Sobotka is playing well. The rest, not so much.
  13. Because not saying that and being the better man is always the right decision, no matter what a mod thumbs up.
  14. See. Told ya!
  15. There was Eichel’s duh moment. Nobody plays a clean shift.
  16. Vesey really looks like he has no idea where to go.
  17. It’s funny that the carruba collision (or whatever it’s called now) will be Risto’s shot just now.
  18. I know. And I agree. Even you even said said that every team plays more physical in the playoffs. Doesn't it make sense to keep more physical players for the playoffs? And that leads me to my next chicken or egg question. Do teams play more physical in the playoffs, or is it the more physical teams that make the playoffs?
  19. wuh?
  20. I think it was game 7 and two years after, but yeah, that one stings. Mostly because with only a couple of minutes left and the Sabres really pressing, Darius Hepatitis closes his hand on the puck, goes to throw it, doesn't, and then throws it over the glass, and no penalty. And then he scores the series winner. Still pissed about that. I can't decide which I like more, 7.7 or Stu in OT versus the Pens. I was at both and they were a blast.
  21. They weren't?
