I think it was Phil Mickelson who said that winning never feels as good as losing feels bad. While I think it's mostly true, I also think it's bull-*****. You need to enjoy the ***** out of it and don't feel one bit guilty about feeling good about it.

He's too good for this to happen. He made a play tonight that he never would have even a couple of weeks ago. It was a 50/50 puck battle on the board and he hit the guy before they went to the boards to gain the advantage (one might say Risto-esque). I loved it. Don't even remember if he won the puck battle but it showed he knows how to play this game. And when he skates with the puck, it's like all time stops.

The NHL.TV interface on the Roku Express is as good as it gets.

Some perspective is needed, though. We pressed them, they pressed us, they ended up winning in a MF shootout after we hit three pipes in OT. It happens. A 2-0 shutout And a come from behind win in OT (where we dominated) is not even close to getting "outplayed." Child!

That was a gat damned fun game. Casey didn't deserve to be in that shootout. The shootout is ***** awful. Ties after five are better. Yet another late first period goal. Three pipes in the OT. Another butt goal involving Arizona. That's funny.

It’s really cool. I love the Picasso-esque head where one half is a skull. Not sure why he had to get shot in the chest with a cannonball, though.
