These poor guys. I truly feel sorry for them. They are internalizing the collective ennui that has been built up over more than a decade, by hundreds of thousands of Sabres fans. Deer Sabres. I don't care if you win. Just enjoy the game and have fun and entertain me.

So, I just realized this was in the second and he wanted to make a makeup call. It’s BS he was canned. So a ref realized he gave an unfair to one team and decided to even things up. I have no problem with that. Once again, the NHL has decided that it doesn’t condone fair play.

So. I didn't read anywhere where this was a makeup call. It read like he wanted to set a tone for the game, which I think is fire worthy. Just call what you see. Makeup calls happen all the time and I actually like them. It shows fairness.

No way is that what happened. Risto did nothing to force him into the goalie other than give him this excuse to use after it happened.
