The whole “Okposlow” trope has baffled (annoyed) me forever. I’ve said it over and over. He’s not slow. There were times during streak where he looked like the only NHL player on the Sabres.

Okay. I lied. I have the time. I watched three NHL games today. It's the money.

I've been watching more and more Av's games (McKinnion is really good.) Their intermission crew is awesome. They are almost like an SCTV skit about what a hockey intermission would be like,… only they're real. Freakin' hilarious.

Or. There is only so much time and money we can allot to hockey and I already sacrifice too much of both to the Sabres. It doesn't mean I don't care.

FAs get big dough. I would guess that they just buy the houses outright.

They are last in goals for against mostly backup goalies. They are 29th in goals against. Is our division really any tougher than the others? If it is, I don’t think it’s by much.

Could only watch the highlights, so of course, that only means goals,... even to NHL.com. D men stop that pass all the time. No one remembers the play.

And once again, there is Dahlin, looking pretty, not making the play. His only job there is stopping that pass. I guess he didn’t want to get any ice shavings on his jersey.

A great reason not to trade Risto or Reino.

My buddy has red/green color blindness. That Thursday night game against the Jets was brutal for him.

Last night was fun. I like watching a win (with lots of goals) way more than a loss. I'm not quite ready to remove the interim tag just yet, as it was one win against a team that isn’t very good. I just want to be entertained for the rest of the year. I guess that’s all can ask for at this point. (That weird posting in another thread happened again)

St Louis was #1 in weight averaged for TOI. Tampa and the Capitals were near the top as well. The Sabres might fine in relation to the league average, but I'd rather compare them to teams that win. Size matters.

It really is amazing.

I see no fire in Dahlin. All I see is "I skate pretty." The reason the Sabres suck is that they continue to trade the "players who have value" and keep the ones who don't.
