The whole keeping guys that want to be here sounds great in theory, but in the case of the current Sabres team, that applies to guys who only want to be here because they know if they went somewhere else they wouldn’t sniff NHL ice. I could see Pens/Isles being interesting if only because it's a team that scores a shite ton against one that doesn't allow any scoring.

I don't think that Drury was as good as his late game heroics had people believe. Many of which were the result of Lindy shortening the bench and putting him together with Briere. I still think Reinhart is Drury and would love to see what he could have done on that team.

What matchups are must see TV this year? Bruins/Caps is interesting, so is Pens/Isles, but I’m just sick of watching these teams. Panthers/Lightening is my go to. Really looking forward to this. Don’t really care about Preds/Canes. I’ll watch both North series. I’m finding the West’s first round matchups kinda meh, from a purely my interest in them, not from the most likely quality of the hockey. Just curious.
