All true. But we would not have intentionally lost for 2+ years. Still trying to figure out why the right path to getting better now is to draft well and build a solid prospect pool, but it wasn’t back then.

I find the (IMO) mental gymnastics needed to believe that the tank worked interesting. I also think everyone is arguing the wrong thing. If a "successful" Tank is only successful if there is then a successful rebuild afterward, then whyTF tank? Just F'n rebuild!! It's even more confusing when I see the continued defense of the tank juxtaposed with the adoration of "how Carolina is doing it." Whether it was a success or not (I think not) it was not our only option and we didn't need to do it ,as some have said.

Then just say "Risto is part of the problem." There is 100% chance that I may get cancer. The 100% serves no purpose other than to be dramatic.

I’d love to see numbers that Risto rims the puck out any more than any other defensemen on any other team. Not saying you are wrong, just curious if the numbers match your I test. And Risto is still the best on the team at tying up a forward on those 50/50 pucks, where a teammate then gets the puck, a play that happens way more often than him rimming the puck out with no stat.

I don’t think 100% means what you think it means. It’s like saying literally when you don’t mean literally.

But it did give them an advantage. There was a player involved in the offense who shouldn’t have been because he should have still been on the bench until his teammate came off.

They kinda brought it on themselves. It's just really bad optics to be talking about maintaining your lifestyle, while the world was getting laid off and you were playing a part in that, by laying off the very people who are supposed to help you make your crappy team better.
