I just thought it was funny that someone criticized him for gliding on a 2 on 1, and all I could think of was, shouldn't the headline be that the huge defenseman got behind four of the opposing players to get a 2 on 1?! He was fast enough for that.
-
So does Power. He just looks slow because he's ginormous. I tought all those critcisms of him in those prospect scouting reports were nonsense. If you have hands, a brain and can get to the ice you need to get to, it doesn't matter how many times you chug your feet.

This explains a lot about why you like the players you like. Do you think the same about Jack?
-
The only thing I agreed with in his post was when he called you a useful idiot.
-
Not sure that was a straw man, but, k.
-
But he knows ambulance workers.

Oh, wait. That’s right. They had broken bones.

For the record, my father and sister both died during the pandemic. Nowhere does it say they died of Covid, blowing your bs theory out of the water (a theory that was debunked over a year ago.) Oh, the irony of you speaking of smugness and emotional midgetry,... Why am I not surprised that you would use a “word” like midgetry?

That’s rich, my “individual anecdote.” I’m talking about the largest hospital in one of the most the most populated counties in the country. Don’t get me wrong, that flu was bad. It’s not even in the same ballpark as this. The weren’t building temporary annexes in parking lots and using mobile morgues for the flu. You've shown your true colors by being completely full of sh!t. No. It’s just the reporting.
-
This shows nothing. I was in an ER that year for another reason. There were beds in the hallway. It was really bad. The same hospital for this built 8 more ICUs (from 4 to 12) and the entire hospital went to Covid only. To imply that the only difference is news coverage is moronic, or it’s agenda driven crap.

I was focused more on the horrible working conditions that people are trying to downplay, than the use of the word hero. And then I have to read this garbage -

I kinda feel like they'd actually be doing us a favor.

I’ve been getting posts like this from my niece, who is an icu nurse, during the entire pandemic. I know that the media gets dumped on for a lot of bs reasons, but if there was a failure by them, it was in telling this story. The right has treated our health care workers as poorly as the left treated returning Vietnam vets. And there will probably be just as much PTSD to deal with.

The drunker I get, the more pissed off I am that I could not see and hug my daughter on her 17th birthday. It’s brutal and sad enough when I get to see her. It’s even worse when I don’t. Get ***** vaccinated!
-
That just means you’ve never had good ones.

Welp, just found out that one of my daughter's DSPs tested positive. Second person in her unit. We were supposed to drive down to see her tomorrow with her 81 year old grandma for her 17th birthday. Not sure what we're going to do now. Fehk!

I hate this take. We knew that my daughter had health issues early on, so we decided to split up the MMR shot. She had her first seizure in the week following the Mumps shot. After the measels shot, I watched her flap her arms and spin around in circles for three days, and then she got the measels (we kept the doctor's report,... actually, we have binders full of all of her doctors' reports). We decided to skip the rubella shot (risk/reward.) When we decided to use marijuana when her seizure meds stopped working, I read GW Pharma's patent application among others to figure out the best way to prepare it for her, to get the benefits without getting her high, and then to get her high to deal with her behaviors. We didn't go into giving her this vaccine lightly or without a fair bit of research. It's not that hard to understand scientific concepts without getting as granular as a virologist. Risk/reward. Even with her history, we chose to give it to her. Our decision was based on facts. She had zero reaction to it.

Again, false. Your body fights off invaders all the time. The vaccine uses a sequence of the rna(dna) of the virus to fool your immune response to fight it off. If you got a gene sequence of your dna before and the again after you received the vaccine, they would be identical. The notion is ridiculous.

It does not ‘mess with the cell structure.’

This is absolutely false and the reason we get frustrated with antivaxxers.

I might actually watch the Sabres next year if he is playing.

The chicken wing is dead. Long live the chicken wing.

I'm not worried. I just see pictures of unvaccinated people I work with out in bars and clubs filled with people and nobody wearing a mask. It pisses me of that when these selfish pricks (IMO) get covid, and they will, they will get two weeks of payed time off, and I will have to pick up their slack at work.
