I had no problem with the penalty. I have always hated the idea of "put the whistles away and let them play." A penalty is a penalty no matter when it happens and it’s not like it was a borderline judgement call. He did tackle the guy.

Is the 38th head coach thing significant, or do writers just put it that way cuz they are trying to appear like they know more stuff than us.

It really wasn’t. Watch it in real time, not that super slo-mo replay. Totally clean hit. And after the second time he touches it. He was admiring his pass.

Man, that was a great hit by Tkachuk on Gentzle! It wasn’t anywhere close to late. Pretty ridiculous that it was a penalty.
