I’m still trying to figure out how holding an NFL team to 11 points is not a dominating performance.

On another note, does NFL Gameday Final ever actually show Bills highlights? They have teased them, but for over 2 hours, I have yet to see a Bills highlight.

And, I had some really good Mexican food after the game. Surprisingly, they also have the best wings around. I washed it down with some local hard cider. Also surprisingly good. Wait,… what was the question?

I mean, I realize that the last time we played Miami, we won 35-nothing, and I think people were even more upset at how bad the Bills were, so, I guess I get it. But I choose to be happy over a 15 point victory against a divisional opponent. Maybe I’m old school.

Boo hoo. We won by fifteen and you are crying. What you feel about the game also has no bearing on reality. Miami is not a terrible team and we crushed them by 15 and I never though we were going to lose and had a great day watching. I’m sorry if you were stressed.

You people are broken. Any performance that ends up in a win is a good one. Period. A “poor” performance doesn’t end up in a 15 point victory after being up 14 points up earlier. I never thought it was close. Even when it was 3-3. Just felt like the refs keeping it close for all the halftime prop bets.😂

It’s funny. I have thought, and continue to think, that we are stuck with Eichel. We tanked for him. We got him. Like it or not. He’s ours. Deal with it.

Unlike the Bills, who can play “poorly” and still win, the Sabres don’t have that luxury. Especially when officials call what they think they see and not what they actually saw. How did Lemieux not get an extra 2 on that fight? He’s punching him while Dylan still has his gloves on. Even the refs were disinterested in this game.

Bryson is not.

I really didn’t think it was all that tight. At no point did I think the Bills were going to lose that game. Not even a little.

IMO it’s never irrelevant. Hasek, the tank sell off, black Sunday. Letting assets go for nothing always puts the team in a hole they have to dig out of. Absolutely.

I think he’s always been pretty strong on his skates. It’s just weird (and awesome) that we actually get to see him creating now. Not sure if he was “allowed” to do that under RK. That game winning assist,… I can watch that all day,… I most likely will. he seemed a little green, but yes, he will be a really good.

ESPN+ can suck my ass. I was watching the game on delay. There is no "start from beginning" option, which is completely bush league. I got to the first intermission and wanted to switch TVs, and it was gone. No Sabres game. WTF. It's not in their replay list. …And it just showed up an hour later after they archived every other game. It's actually still not archived for ROKU yet.

I'll be watching this one on delay. I won't get home from my rock-n-roll band practice until around midnight. Buncha old farts.

But it was a goal. I think on both plays, what made them great was the speed in which they went from just a play along the boards to a high % shot. Goalies say that the toughest shooters they face are the ones who disguise their shots. Sam kinda disguised his pass in both cases causing the goalie to be a beat behind when the shot cam. That's my take, anyway. I like Sam. I think he's good.
