  1. Criminals are criminals and mass murderers are mass murderers. There is a difference and you know that. And I didn’t call you anything. I said that the argument you made, which I’ve heard a thousand times before, is a crock of *****. If that is too strong of language, then I’ll say that it is disingenuous, at best.
  2. I’m sorry, but IMO, this is argument is a complete crock of *****. Yes, criminals will still get guns, but criminals are not the ones committing these mass murders. The typical disaffected 18 yo isn’t tapped into his local underground network in order to get automatic weapons when he’s angry. These broken humans are getting their weapons legally, because its so easy. Take away that avenue and they may just go on a bender and wake up with only a bad headache.
  3. 😂 I have seen improvement. That's not saying very much. They had nowhere else to go. The Sabres this past decade (and certainly under Krueger) may have been the worst. team. ever. Their playoff drought kinda confirms that. Just because everyone here is convinced that "we've turned a corner," doesn't mean that there aren't thousands of miles yet to go. I cannot say with any certainty that they are going to be good next year. I can't even say they are going to be average (which is all it takes to make the playoffs) with any certainty. The concept of a corner. That's all it is. Before we get all Pegula-y talking about multiple Stanley Cups, can we just make the playoffs first?
  4. Um, If you are implying that I am one of those fans who “even after winning the Stanley Cup, would find something to complain about,” just stop. Those fans don’t exist and never have. I think it is the most ridiculous thing when someone says that to another fan. It’s just stupid. I’ll settle for just making the playoffs for the first time in over a decade and not extending our record setting playoff drought. Is that too high a standard?
  5. Totally agree. I've switched to the local cable news weather app. Way better.
  6. I feel nothing. The Sabres have made me numb. I found it comical that people were scoreboard watching and trying to sell the importance of pick 16 over pick 21, as if the difference is all that much. And the difference between pick 28 and 32 is even less (comically). All on the heels of being sold the Tank. Well, which is it? It's too much to take sometimes. Until they are actually good, in the regular season, when it actually counts, I choose to reserve judgement and feel nothing.
  7. It's November and December that I'm worried about.😀
  8. Wait. I thought we had to lose on purpose to get the highest picks we could because it was the only way out from ninth place year after year?! I love how the goalposts are always in motion. I'm so tired of being sold the future. It's been decades. Call me when we are actually good in the present.
  9. I know what the rules are, and I know that none were broken. I also know that my opinion differs from that guy's opinion. I just find it curious that when certain teams do things like this, you get articles from douchebags like this justifying it, but when other teams do it, it's an insult to the game and rule changes follow. …but MFTs don't exist. Again,… whatever.
  10. Whatever. And yet for some reason, the Sabres were not afforded the same courtesy. Also, I've never been a fan of the "well, there is no rule against it, so it's okay" line of thinking. Not only in hockey.
  11. A little less hard to believe knowing that they skirted the cap twice in that time.
  12. Perfect. It's social media.
  13. These hockey announcers, including Koharski are getting more and more insane. They can be looking right at something and tell you that something else is happening. How is Kadri playing the puck when he is diving on the goalie? JFC. I don't even care, but truth is truth and apparently no one cares anymore. Looks like the Avs know that if they don't play tough they are going to lose.
  14. I rehabbed and released a bat about 3 years ago. It's only right now starting to take effect,… I hope.
  15. If so, doesn’t mean it isn’t true.
  16. I don’t know what this means?
  17. Why do you have to be humble about being smart? Stupid people sure brag enough about how dumb they are.
  18. Didn't that kinda happen in the Boston/Vancouver final? That was some MFT bs.
  19. Sure. If they are exciting. I think the number of goals scored in the EDM/CGY game made it less exciting. It would have been way more exciting if EDM had tied it at 3-3 in the 3rd as opposed to 6-6. It may have actually meant something. I will say I find it exciting then the Sabres score. Been some dark years. I agree. In recent years, some of those "Vegas style" back and forth games, where nobody gets hit and, for the most part, the two teams just trade losing the puck, and then a goal is scored on some lucky bounce, are some of the the most painfully boring games I've ever seen (all while reading on here someone telling me how exciting they are).

  21. I hate Tampa, but Toronto losing again is hilarious.
  22. I'll take just the #16 pick being worth a damn.
  23. Believed superiority Interesting choice of words,…
  24. I'm just not sure who to root for in this LA/EDM game. I can think of reasons for both.
