I haven’t even stopped drinking today.

So did Thompson. In every period. If he just made the easy play, instead of trying to force the cute play, I think he could be really good. He set up Thompson for two prime scoring chances in OT the shift before they won and Tage pooched them both. I thought Thompson did not have a great game yesterday (other than his goal, of course.)

It is in Boston. Dude,… it was absolutely special. I’m going to watch it again right now. 😂 I’m going to keep my i out for that. He is the personification of everything I hate about Boston sports.

When he skated off the ice pumping his fists, did he look like someone who lost the fight? How the heck can anyone complain about the 5-3? They couldn’t not call those, cuz, ya know, they were obvious penalties. I thought there was plenty of other stuff that was way more egregious. The handful of Tuch’s jersey in overtime for one thing. I didn’t even know about Marchand being the sixth guy until now.

The Sabres owe us a goal.

Wow was that a hold. they are not going to call anything in this game until Boston needs it.

And the beat goes on. We get the exact team you all want. Only it's not. It's going to keep happening until someone does something about it. Get in his face and fight or don't, b ut the cross check is lame.

There are four other guys on the ice who could be that guy. But nice ridiculous option to make your point. Not necessarily. He would have been better off not cross checking. Good period.

That was as lame as it could be and is a perfect example of why you need a guy that can fight. What should have been two guys in the box, each five for fighting, and Boston with an added 2 for goalie interference, leading to a Sabres 5 on 3, ended up just a continuation of our power play. Awesome.

So, teams don’t know to run our goalies, huh? Sure, go with that.

It’s no wonder why they are this good yet again. Especially in the third. When you get last change and shorten your bench to put the best line in hockey (5+ years running, maybe more?) on the ice, you can pretty much determine the outcome of the game then. If the Sabres win today, it will be because of the kid line. They have to show up. Casey’s line, as well. They need to go up big in the first two, then withstand the onslaught in the third. That seems to be their game plan most games anyway.

That was a fun game. The Red Wings are not a good team. The Sabres are slightly better. It would be awesome if they beat the Bruins. I don’t see it happening.
