It only wouldn’t work if the team continued to lose after getting rid of the dead weight. If they start winning, every player left would not give a crap about getting rid of someone they view as being responsible for losing.

The problem is, they are starting to do it out of habit, and when the aren't even on the PP, and no one is there to get the pass. 😂 It happened at center ice against the Habs and it got picked off and went the other way. They really are awful.

I've been saying this exact thing for a while now (maybe with slightly different language). I totally agree. I think you could even do it with only 1 or 2. It would make everyone else play better.

I wonder what Terry thinks of that performance last night, after his big pep talk. It was terrible. They couldn't even connect on routine passes until they were down 5 goals. Maybe not the worst ownership, but certainly the results during an ownership. They would be hard to top (or, um,... bottom?)

I said at the time that getting rid of Bylsma (and Murray) was going to set the rebuild back at least 2 years (never imagined it was going to be this long). Botts is the only one of this entire crap show that we ever saw actually look like he cared and get mad at losing. I do think that youth is our issue and I'm afraid that they will think that they have to do something, then get rid of yet another player who will flourish elsewhere. Thorney has nailed it. It's spending. Get that crusty vet that the young'n's have to answer to.
