  1. At least we gave the points to a team that doesn't matter.
  2. This is fun. I can't believe I'm having fun watching a hockey game at the end of February.
  3. They just ain't skating. One of those nights.
  4. Alright, I'm back to live. Let's win this thing. If they can score 4 against the caps in a period, that can score three against the Columbus Hummers. Although the BJs look like they didn't want to get embarrassed like last time.
  5. I just disagree. I don't see it as a luxury. Most of the times we see a lapse in D, it's a forward who has completely missed an assignment and left a guy wide open. Not the D's fault. We've got two guys that haven't even scratched what they are going to become, who will most likely be playing half of games (ala the Niedermayer and Pronger Ducks). Mule and Joker can fill another twentyish. The next two will probably always be the same guy. I want tougher more defensive minded forwards who know how to score and play D. We've got some growing already. Maybe it's just me, but I want even more.
  6. The Sabres do not need D. They need more forwards who can score and play D.

  8. KO can totally keep up with that line. I like the Quinn idea, at least for a taste. HineyStrokie’s forecheck is good enough to replace Tuch’s, I just don’t think his playmaking can, but maybe. I don’t like VO on that line at all. This sucks, but not as bad as I would have thought.
  9. Unless they are an above average goalie.
  10. I had no problem with Tkachuk tonight. This just seemed like a case of his reputation preceding him. I thought he actually pulled up on Skinner. He let him him know that he wasn't happy with the shot, but he certainly didn't overstep his douchebaggery. He just did what you would expect from a guy on the losing side. Krebs just let him know that no amount of pushback was going to be tolerated.
  11. So, if a player gets suspended in early October, potentially, the very next season in April, he could do it again and not be a repeat offender. Pure NHL genius.
  12. In the past, that has usually meant he's injured. Hope he's not fighting something.
  13. Ah, Gotcha. I thought he was referring to Cernak's other elbowing of a Buffalo Sabre. Repeat offender. He got 2 games last time, so 5 games? Well, it's the NHL so they'll give him 3 and say it's more than last time.
  14. This is incorrect. It happened in the second period of one of the Stockholm games. There was no penalty called on the play.
  15. IIRC, there was no penalty called on that play, either.
  16. Open your mind. With the help of some spice and a brain-babyectomy, today is the one year anniversary of my mind being opened and having a brain tumor removed. Life's good!! Sunday is the one year anniversary of being sent home afterward to sit in a chair by the fire and eat wings. (it's almost like outpatient surgery these days,… crazy) We're celebrating by playing a show Sunday night. And I only had to relearn one little section of a tune (seriously). Now I want wings.
  17. Going against board protocol, I'm not judging the post, I'm judging you. Using this meme as much as you do,… you are a douche. And I agree with a lot of what you post.
  18. When I last felt this way about work, I had a tumor in the impulse control part of my brain. My MRIs have been clean,… but I still feel the same. Not sure what to do. Isn't it time to retire yet? 'AMMIT!!!!
