ROC Sabres

So far not too bad here. Wind starting to pick up a bit and the lights are dimming every now and then but still have power. Pretty much just worried about the tree in front of my house since one of the three main limbs hangs over my house (and all the leaves fell off last week :worthy: ). Never had a chance to clean the gutters before the bad weather started so I've got buckets coming out every time there is a good gust leaving a nice pool of standing water in front of my house. Luckily the house is on a bit of a hill and the standing water is right near the drain for where the sump pump is. Kind of expecting the power to go out sometime in the middle of the night since I've heard a bunch of people around Rochester are already powerless.

I thought that was Kyle Orton.

Pretty much where I am at with this whole thing. I'm really interested if they are going to nitpick the new CBA or come to terms.

That's the problem with the government, everyone has a good idea but once it is made a bill, checks and balances kicks in. We could find a cure for every disease the world has and it would be held up in congress for eons.

Other than making appearances at the draft,all-star game, stanley cup presentation, he is pretty much a figure head in my book. What goes on behind closed doors may be different but the CBA is between the owners and NHLPA so I really don't see his role in that, other than final approval, being that big.

Just saw a great twitter Olympics commercial. Michael Phelps sitting in the dressing room(?) before a race and then he spit into the middle of the room. The tag line was "Before the headlines." I'm happy to know the Olympics is tweeting Phelps spitting.

I really wonder if the designer of that was having an off day when he labeled the facility. Labeling the restrooms "toilets" is a little amateur to me.
