When you watch the game look at Hodgson's play away from the puck. Watch how he pulls defenders away from play that Vanek is making, things like that. He's got hockey smarts.

Freakin' right. I came home Tuesday night to hear a drip, drip, drip coming from the basement. I go downstairs to find water dripping out of the electric box thingy (found out later it's a circuit breaker box, learn something every day). Go out to the car this morning and find my freakin' door is frozen shut. WTF week.

I have to say, it sucked losing last night. Leopold should've taken that guy out, Miller should've saved that shot. I also have to say that I liked the Sabres team I saw. Holding on to the puck for longer periods of time, not taking crap from the other team and the defense joining the rush. If they continue playing like this we just may have something here.

Foligno. The Leaf player took a shot and in the process of pulling his stick BACK after the shot caught Foligno in the chin. It was NOT on the follow through.

If one for one I think Myers-Weber and Ehrhoff-Brennan. Brennan has to clear waivers to go BACK to the AHL. Most here as well as it seems DR think he wouldn't clear. Re-entry is not a problem, it's gone in the new CBA. During the lockout, since he was a callup he needed to sign an AHL contract to play with the Amerks. Once the lockout was over his NHL contract kicked back in, thus the need for waivers to send him down.

I just pictured Scott skating by Lucic in the warm up and in a Jaws (from James Bond) voice saying "Hey buddy how's it goin'?"
