It was a generality about head hits. This Dr is saying that going straight into the boards with the very top of your head can cause a spine crushing injury. Hitting the boards like Ennis did (not hunched over, hits with side of his face, proximity to boards) lessen the chance of a spine crushing injury.

I may agree with what he already got. But I don't agree with a big suspension.

But he didn't hit him high and then throw him face first into the boards. He hit him downstairs where his padding is and pushed him towards the boards, not face first into it.

Here's the question: Richards does that same hit on Kaleta. Do you to suspend him for a game? Or even give him five and thrown out of the game?

Didn't it actually cost us just one? May I just say it was awesome the way Gerbe came down the middle straight towards the goalie and then backed off to his right about 10 feet excepted the pass from Ott and buried it home top shelf. He was taken out of the game with the game suspension tonight. He might get another game maybe two.
