Thoughts for last night:
Small crowd, I'd say 12,000
Enroth was on fire. Tons of energy.
Ennis: seemed almost every pass was in someones skates, either a Sabre or the Jets. Multiple times he chose to pass when he could've shot the puck. I have no idea how he got a star last night.
Grigorenko: not impressed with his performance. I counted three times he was set up all alone in front and whiffed on the puck. Made bad choices all night. One time early the Sabres got the puck deep and were putting the pressure on, had control in the Jets zone, you could feel a goal coming. Grigorenko skates all the way across the ice to make a line change.
Stafford: if he played like he did last night more often I'd keep him. Strong on the puck, great hustle.
As a team:
You would think by this time in the season they could pass it stick to stick. Passes behind, in the skates, too far in front.
Indecision by all. Waiting too long to pass, make the play. They are way to tight
