    Oilers GM MacTavish said today he would be willing to trade his 1st round pick for a more veteran player. Now before you get all excited he means that he will make the pick and then take offers on that player for someone "a little further along in development". Thoughts?

    They've wanted to do it for a few years but wanted to wait until he officially retired. That wasn't until late 2012. Then Sabres Hall of Fame on March 29 and into the Hockey Hall of Fame on November 17.
