Meh, I'm warming up to this. BUT... I was always disgusted with the idea that a roster as talented as the Lions couldn't perform consistently. That team was such a disappointment, and to me, was held back by their head coach. Here's to hoping that he can maximize this team's defensive talent when given a more singular role.

Everything you said is absolutely right. But I agree with nfreeman; he plays like this all year and the majority will be screaming for him to get a 5x5, save for maybe me, you, and d4rk, and maybe a couple of others.

You're seriously asking a rookie first round QB on a National platform to "not get the extra yards"? I know people say the game slows down for the good ones, but it's not REALLY slowing down to the point of deciding, "hmmm, should I grab those extra couple of yards or mail it in and try next time?" Gamers game, and they do it at a 100% clip full go everytime. I don't want Trent Edwards out there overthinking and re-evaluating everything he does. I want a gamer.

OK, got 2 out of 3. I know he's had his issues, but I'd still love it if Matt made his way on somehow. Can't help it, I love these guys.

I was one of those guys, sort of. I don't recall ever saying that he was ONLY bad because of his line, just that John Elway would have looked like Rob Johnson behind a line like that. And yet, still, Kolb started off 4-1 before having his ribs torn from his torso. I think most fans were simply saying, "hey, let's see what he can do with a line that doesn't fall down after the snap before proclaiming him a clipboard holder". Again, though, I've been screaming EJ from the rooftops since before the draft.

This is gonna sound silly, but I started surfing (when in Rome?) just last summer and was not prepared for the workout involved. Maybe it's because I still suck at it, but it's WAY more swimming than it is anything else. Also, my nipples hate me (too cool for a rash guard).
