Moncef Slaoui, chief advisor to the "Warp Speed" vaccine effort, said today at the White House, "These (clinical trial) data made me feel even more confident that we will be able to deliver a few hundred million doses of vaccine by the end of 2020."

Does exposed mean infected?

Hot take: nfreeman allows this one. Because of course he will.

I'm making Texas Hot Sauce, using a recipe an old Greek lady gave me on her deathbed — or one that they printed in the paper. This stuff is legendary around the southern tier of NY and northern tier of PA. So many great spices you wouldn't usually pair up — cinnamon, cloves, cumin, cayenne. So warm and tasty after it all marries. Imma have it on egg noodles. 75 minutes of simmer left. About the ground cloves. I bought it in 2013 or 2014. It still smells clove-y, but I have to be pushing the envelope here.

I take it you didn't get an Impossible Whopper. I did and thought it was OK, but it was the last one I got. I'd like to give the "meat" a try at home. I'm not sure I've seen it in local stores yet. I might have a long wait. Too many deer in these hills.

You must get paid by the hour.

But with two spaces, if you're unlucky, you get an annoying river of white space meandering down the page. @inkman

I don't think Stuck owns the salon; I think Stuck would rather not go back to work just yet. There's only one person who can answer these questions. @shrader

I don't think you read between the lines very well.

Neo and I will be in for a little off the, uh, back. It'll be realllll quick. Seriously, has your salon thought about a "no-talk policy" during a session? It might reduce the risk only a bit, but every bit helps.

Were these teams any good? Was it good hockey? Or just good hockey for the time? There's always the debate about which Sabres team would beat which Sabres team. After watching some of this game, I'd be on the worst tank team beating the 75 Sabres, a lot of it based on goaltending. But a lot of other things that were apparent.

You're in a barbershop with a car around you. And what good do the scrubs do? Sorry, this is funny.

I really don't appreciate this. I'm sure only one of us actually celebrates the holiday. This reminds me of the Thanksgiving you tried to tell me cloves are one of the ingredients in pumpkin pie spice.

50 years ago today: The best hockey photo ever?

Upon further review, the place did go nuts. Also, as much as I hate The Dunleavy non-goal goal call, Dan Kelly's call was outstanding. Here's a neat little breakdown of why the goal is so memorable: -
I see Eichel and Dahlin discussions that were shamed. Anybody else here into en dashes and em dashes? PM me.

I assume we're trying to steal their research. I'll laugh if a certain segment of the population is outraged that an adversary is trying to hack us.

You're not gonna lecture me about Festivus.
-
Yeah, but...

Festivus Frank wasn't soft and gentle, he just hated the commercialization of Christmas. I've been trying to think of examples to support your claim. I came up with Frank going into the computer business and hiring his son, somewhat proudly, to be his salesman. Almost sentimental there. He did agree with Estelle once that Susan's parents deliberately didn't put out the marble rye, which forestalled another car argument. Still... not soft and gentle. He wistfully remembered his Korean lover before miraculously being reunited with her — then proceeded to stop short with her. I proclaim Frank possessed zero softness and gentleness.

Funny how the Sabres' royal blue looks very dark purplish blueish.

Rick grew up listening to and admiring Danny Gallivan, and, holy mackerel, can you hear a lot of Rick in Danny. The deadpan, dry humor for one thing. Rick lifted some of the expressions word for word.
