To summarize, outdoors is very safe, within reason. It makes me think differently about the folks on beaches. Many indoor spaces and situations are also reasonably safe, like going grocery shopping. Time + exposure is an important concept. The places to really avoid: crowded indoor spaces with limited air exchange, especially where human behavior is dispersing the virus (talking, shouting, singing, not to mention the obvious coughing and sneezing). Importantly, in these situations social distancing can't save us. This comes at a time when we think the safety issue for restaurants and bars is solved by spreading out the patrons. It won't help you much if the virus is in the air and you're breathing it in for an hour. This is why sporting events probably won't have fans until there's a vaccine. If it was the Pegulas' plan to get to only $47 million committed to the cap, it does raise two questions at least. What was the rationale behind the plan, to cut costs or for some strategic reason (make the team better)? If it was for strategic reasons, is this another example of meddling in the GM's business?

I'm making Texas Hot Sauce, using a recipe an old Greek lady gave me on her deathbed — or one that they printed in the paper. This stuff is legendary around the southern tier of NY and northern tier of PA. So many great spices you wouldn't usually pair up — cinnamon, cloves, cumin, cayenne. So warm and tasty after it all marries. Imma have it on egg noodles. 75 minutes of simmer left. About the ground cloves. I bought it in 2013 or 2014. It still smells clove-y, but I have to be pushing the envelope here.

I take it you didn't get an Impossible Whopper. I did and thought it was OK, but it was the last one I got. I'd like to give the "meat" a try at home. I'm not sure I've seen it in local stores yet. I might have a long wait. Too many deer in these hills.
