Oh jeez, there it is.

For me, technically, yes. Starting in very late April, healthcare workers and first responders were tested for antibodies. I should have been offered a test, and asked about getting one, but I think I just fell through the cracks because I'm on leave. I didn't make a stink. Now, antibody testing is available to the entire community with a lab slip from a doctor. I'll be having my test tomorrow. My doctor told me a very low percentage of positive tests have come back so far, which matches the low number of positive cases in my county of 40-some thousand people — so far only eight, with several probable cases (symptoms and contact with someone who's positive, but no testing was done). One death, though.

You touched on some of the issues I was thinking about with the parents.

But if you want to get to the root of the problem, you have to look to the parents, no?

Pegulas suing to keep Strength and Conditioning Coach in the country
Stoner replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
There are public databases where one can see to whom folks give their money. Yes, it could be a good discussion, but it's not wanted on this board, even when a certain subject clearly enters our sporting world. I've already said too much. -
And what about the patriot jab. Most of us know Hank did some serious duty in wartime. That cuts pretty close to the bone. Hank used an argumentative technique called exaggeration for effect. It was very cold and sharp, yes, but he wasn't calling Eleven a child molester. It was a point about assuming. No one should be banned. I sure hope Eleven doesn't have enough clout to get someone kicked off.

Poetic justice. -
Oscar Mayer's are really good. I'd say the best of the bunch. Have you guys tried them? I like to pair them up with a Stroehmann bun, plain yellow mustard and some Countrytime Lemonaid, the powdered kind.

I almost want to say There's No Way There's A Name For That. But... maybe earincarnation?

I have none. What's the point? It's not based on anything except several "I see"s and a "won't necessarily" and a "possible" and "hope" and assumptions about Rasmus' mindset and physical preparation. Why not wait and see? 1. You won't be disappointed. 2. More importantly, the bane of this board, there won't be a baked-in narrative you have to defend in the face of evidence otherwise. Rasmus Dahlin: who the hell knows? Ask for it by name.

He's probably hard-working and gritty. Jason, you rest and stay off the 'puter. Daddy has got the wheel.

The bottom one is a winner. Good use of the rule of thirds. The shadow helps to make the pic.

The following well-sourced (and fairly short) blog post is by far the best thing I've read on COVID-19. https://www.erinbromage.com/post/the-risks-know-them-avoid-them Useful, clearly written info. on what's safe and what's not so safe as we re-open. Imagine that. It had to come from a professor of biology specializing in immunology at U-Mass Dartmouth. He makes a point to say he is not an expert in the disease or in epidemiology but is trying to translate the expertise of others into information for the lay person. Please read this blog! To summarize, outdoors is very safe, within reason. It makes me think differently about the folks on beaches. Many indoor spaces and situations are also reasonably safe, like going grocery shopping. Time + exposure is an important concept. The places to really avoid: crowded indoor spaces with limited air exchange, especially where human behavior is dispersing the virus (talking, shouting, singing, not to mention the obvious coughing and sneezing). Importantly, in these situations social distancing can't save us. This comes at a time when we think the safety issue for restaurants and bars is solved by spreading out the patrons. It won't help you much if the virus is in the air and you're breathing it in for an hour. This is why sporting events probably won't have fans until there's a vaccine. Same with concerts, rallies and the like. Some info. that might give hockey pause: More:

ESPN Article: Sabres are the NHL's Biggest Disaster

Shoulda been sponsored by Oh ***** Home Pregnancy Tests. -
Interesting! Good luck with it. This probably can't hurt the Sabres' chances.

The whowhere? You've dropped some subtle hints about a change in vocation, being back in school etc. It must be the distraction of the pandemic, but I don't think anyone has asked the obvious followup question... until now. Is there something you'd like to tell us? I get tipsy and lower my rate ONE TIME and Kev won't let me hear the end of it.
-
I think nfreeman is struggling to express the letter of the rule. The spirit of the rule is a good one... It shouldn't be this complicated.
-
Like I said.

You'd think Sabres fans by now would know that glory glory hallelujah in Year Four is, always has been, and always will be NONSENSE™!

If it was the Pegulas' plan to get to only $47 million committed to the cap, it does raise two questions at least. What was the rationale behind the plan, to cut costs or for some strategic reason (make the team better)? If it was for strategic reasons, is this another example of meddling in the GM's business?
-
Of course the good feeling lasted about 10 seconds. The key word seems to be "deliver." This apparently doesn't mean that people are going to be getting injected with the vaccine by the end of the year. I'd say more, but I'm already violating nfreeman's rules by merely discussing the government's response to the pandemic.
