Because of politics? No. Flagg can talk about how all growed up he is, but his "farewell, cruel Internet" rant was the stuff of 13-year-olds. I don't like how he's being made out the victim. The r-word was especially toxic. Sometimes people try too hard for an explanation. People come and go from message boards. Shocker. Was it because mean old PA didn't like Terry? Hardly. Because a debate got nasty or heated or too political? Unlikely. There were always signs some of these people just weren't cut out for it and are probably better off without it.

I've been there. I swear the theme song is better than melatonin. And I also go for the early years.

Also, not for nothing, do you think it's a problem that the Politics Club is titled "The Oval Office" and has the seal of the president? You contributing something of value. We'll get there, friends! But I may not see the mountaintop with ya!

@Eleven@MattPie Would you guys mind removing mention of the trail association's name in your posts? I didn't mean to post the name of the group and bring any negative attention to it. (I had no problem with the joke and was only presenting it for argument's sake.)

I got a solicitation email from a trail association today asking me to join. Would you fire/dismiss the PR person who wrote the following reason for joining? Women as domestic nags. Truly offensive!

If SDS were NBC and applied the same standards, I don't know how many of us would be left. For there to be any support for NBC on this board... there's the real hypocrisy. I think even NS would be out in the Internet-less desert wandering around for 40 years with the rest of us.
