I'll own it. I want 14-4 losses every time out until Terry is forced to sell. Suffering is the path to joy. -
Hint: He cackles.
-
Kevyn has said he talks to Terry every day. Does that seem normal or healthy?

Inkling you say? Someone smarter than I in stats will have to explain how the current playoff cutoff line can be maintained thru 82 games. -
Nate Silver says TP has a 33.156% chance of not being the worst owner.

I'm 6'9 and have never had an issue. -
It's not Meatballs or any other ethnic slur Buffalo sports fans want to come up with, it's the Gortons Fisherman.
-
That's a good call.
-
I mean, they're not above planting posters on message boards.
-
I think I like Chris Brown. Still haven't been able to track down the full call of The Run.

It was an obvious hard no to have Levi start the season as the starter. Alas... Just listen to PopPa.
-
If I were a nasty poster, I would call up the Levi poll before LAST season. Oopsie.
-
Am I OK? From THN... The reclaiming of James Reimer off of waivers last week gave the Sabres the opportunity of giving the 22-year-old some regular work in the AHL while the veteran backed up Luukkonen this week during a three-game road swing through California, and on Wednesday, head coach Lindy Ruff announced that Levi was being sent down to the Rochester Americans.

I've looked down my nose at the idea of great players in recent Buffalo sports. It always seemed desperate and manufactured. Hell, I never thought Ryan Miller was great, so I wasn't going to apply that mantle to rookie Dylan Cozens. I wish I was still the kind of Bills fan I used to be so I could truly revel in something so rare that came along on a Sunday evening in November: an authentically and indisputably great play by an authentically and indisputably great player. You won't find many greater moments in the history of Buffalo sports. Sabres, were you watching?

Anybody have any spare lye?

Some things have to go wrong (three losses out west, probably one of them in galling fashion) and some right: Terry has to be fed up with it and have someone good waiting in the wings. I don't see him promoting from within. Very, very unlikely but everything is plattered up for it, including days off before the first game back (hockey law requires me to say that first game back is tough!).
-
Just a figure of speech or is there friendship at play? I've never heard of it. What indication would there be?
-
It's the first home game after the West Coast trip. They have three days off before the game. Well, will he?

It's dumb to say any team should win a game. Let alone the Buffalo Sabres. A 5-0 win wouldn't surprise you. Nor would a 5-0 loss. There's the logic. -

For those who adhere to the Bowmanian scheme of 10 game segments: The Sabres pulled nine points in the first segment. Not nearly enough. Twelve would do. They are 4-3 in the second segment. Three more wins would give them the most points in a segment since 22-23 and put them a relief pitcher's ***** hair below a playoff pace (94 ish points when you probably need 96 ish to be safe). Three losses and it's a disaster (69ish point pace). This team has struggled the last calendar year plus a month to get out of its comfort zone. Segment totals: 10, 10, 7, 11, 10, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8*. This is a delicate point in the journey back to Stanleyland.
