I think I like this kind of thing as a way of exposing how shallow the opposition to vaccines is for most (the vast majority?). I have a brother who won't get vaccinated because "no one's gonna tell me what to do." It wouldn't take much more than a free dinner at a nice Italian restaurant to change his mind. Super Bowl. NASCAR tickets. Chik Fil A and Cracker Barrel coupons. Ammo. Let 'er rip.

Haven't read the whole thread. Does the slogan mean what I think it means?

Dunleavy "expected" to return next season on new contract
Stoner replied to Stoner's topic in The Aud Club
You will when Tage Thompson scores an overtime goal in the playoffs and Dan comes up with, "Tage rages in the game-winner!" -
Former sabre Patrik Berglund charged with rape and assault

Richard Jewel was a real P.O.S., too. Until he wasn't. I'm not on board with conflating our disappointment in hockey players' performances with charges of rape. -

He's also at the end of his contract — and also "expected" to return. -
This is beyond obnoxious.

PSE executive vice president tells TBN. Dunleavy has few fans on this board. What are we missing? And of the few fans he has on this board, how many think he's the right guy moving forward with a young and potentially exciting team? I dread that flat voice, dull personality and unimaginative style being associated with the team — and oh those Dunleavy Non Goal Call Goal Calls.

Former sabre Patrik Berglund charged with rape and assault
Stoner replied to MODO Hockey's topic in The Aud Club
Some need to be reminded how it works. The first several posts sound like assumptions of guilt. These threads are useless. No one knows the truth. What's the conversation supposed to be about? -

Not a big believer in it? Assuming guilt is precipitous. -

People were all "good!" when the story of Rich's firing came out. Reading just the link (and not clicking on it to read the story) gave the impression Rich was the one who was talking about shades of toast and women of color. All Rich said was, "OK." I'm just hoping people don't jump to conclusions. Already, rape has turned into some sort of sexual assault, by your account. Also, it seems one would need an understanding of Swedish law. Of course, it's SabreSpace. We're all Swedish lawyers. -

You guys understood it? Or trust the translation? I harken back to people thinking Rich Gaenzler was talking about toast when he wasn't — because a link was misleading. -

They took a commercial break when they shouldn't have.

And if the Sabres decide to trade Eichel in advance and end up making a good trade, you'd be opposed?
-
So much overthinking from a fan base that has suffered so much. Do you go for a name coach? Of course. Do you make a good trade of Eichel? Of course you do. Are Risto and Reinhart must-keeps? Of course not. As someone who's really smart once said, "What the hell do you have to lose?"
-
Yeah, the Sabres really showed 'em. Is it possible this fine is just Phase One of league action? Are we assuming the Panarin stuff won't be disciplined?

This is a losing fan culture defined. If anything remotely similar is happening with the team, that's a losing team culture defined. It's an 82 game season. It's a mistake to think any one game is not winnable. Fans should always be disappointed in losing. Mad, even. Same for the players, times 10. (A playoff series with the Isles right now might be a different story.) The players need to learn the habits of success, one of which is to despise losing. They beat the Islanders last night. They can and should do it again. Period.
