  1. Is this trade delayed because of someone even dumber than the fantasy traders here? In other words, fans overrate their own, and a fan is running this show? Sorry... "fan." I bet if it was up to KA this sideshow would be over.
  2. Oh yeah, BYE JOHN.
  3. It's amazes me what gets the OMFG responses. Generational, I think. OMG, the pasta was amazing! (h/t Louis CK)
  4. Nice job, Pegula kid.
  5. And the people who just have to be ahead of you?
  6. The boy who was not glad He and his dad Took a trip into the middle of Scranton Look, my dear dad, said the sad lad "Those two fellas are kissin'" The dad told the lad not to be mad "Be glad... they are happy. They just happen to prefer the sausage"
  7. Children's book? Here is a boy in a mine. Look at the boy in the mine. The boy in the mine is sad. --- The End.
  8. The slug is green.
  9. Roy time traveled to sniff Latvian caboose. No shocker there.
  10. The playoffs in 84 and 85 were true suffering!
  11. And that's why it's a sucker bet.
  12. What a small minded and thoughtless person. No wonder Drury hated grocery shopping.
  13. I know this is the definition of the Gambler's Fallacy, but this franchise is due for a good* season.
  14. People are forgetting the loser point, parity, the fact that opponents don't treat every game as Game 7 over the course of a season, the real chance, if the team is out of the playoffs again, that they will have another meaningless strong finish. The main factor I am looking at is a real addition-by-subtraction boost in the lockerroom and some special coaching by Donny Granato.
  15. 66. But yeah. And Miriam was still living. I can still taste her pimento loaf sandwiches we had at halftime.
  16. I was going to say that we should expect the new stadium to nice, but underwhelming, given the modest cost. I thought it would be at the low end of what recent stadiums cost. However it turns out $1.4 billion is in the ballpark. (WTF made Sofi Stadium so expensive? Almost $5 B.) So let's expect to be whelmed. What do we want to see in a new stadium?
  17. Do you know how many people went broke thinking like that?
  18. My nephew is coming up from Florida for hunting season and wanted to see the Bills-Pats. So he bought tickets. We'll be down in 108 close to the field. I would have advised him to get a little higher (shut up, @Eleven), but I wasn't consulted. (Actually, I would have advised him to buy a lot higher, as in the upper deck. These tickets were well over $200 bucks. Ouch.) My brother, the nephew's father, won't attend because of the black national anthem, kneeling or some such other nonsense. It'll be an interesting experience. I haven't been to a regular season since 2000, I think. Whatever year they played SD. Flutie was the QB. Since then, as I've mentioned here, I fell out of love with the Bills and divorced them. I am resolved, however, for one night to have sex with my ex. I am going to fake it beyond belief. Most of all, I just want it to snow. Really hard.
  19. You of all people should recognize a sucker bet.
  20. I was going to say the opposite.

  22. It's still rock and roll to me.
  23. Named by Terry.
  24. Richard John Jeanneret, you put down that microphone this very minute!
