  1. Tomorrow night was tomorrow night where I was last night. Thanks though.
  2. See ya in the GDT tomorrow night.
  3. As others have said, he's not off the clock in this situation. He's responsible for the message he's communicating. I honestly don't think it helps his cause. It communicates what a douchebag he is. But apparently every other GM already knew this, so maybe he doesn't care who knows. What a hypocrite. You and 11 can take your amateur psychobabble and shove it.
  4. I said, what's Twitter? They said, you talk to people. I said, hoo boy!
  5. I've always wondered if players give up their boyhood teams when they turn pro. I think, in their minds, they have to. But I don't know for sure. A mile-wide asteroid is heading for your house. What would it take to excite you? Why even be a fan if nothing turns you on or boils your blood. You are: Terry. Even Steven. Whistle while the waterfront burns. Do you have an escape hatch or a private lake in the Adirondacks with an underground bunker? HOLY *****! Also — Jack's a masshole piece of *****. Bye, John.
  6. Release a rehabbed bat. There is no other way.
  7. I'll never understand the obsession with putting everything in one generic bin.
  8. It says it all! So wait. Delayed reaction... the Sabres got rid of the franchise's mission statement? Also says it all!
  9. I wouldn't have known about it otherwise, so yeah.
  10. Would you boo OJ? Then you'd definitely boo this moron. They both have blood on their hands.
  11. Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo.
  12. Terry recruited football players for high schools. He was/is a power play at PSU football. He felt empowered enough to try and get a PSU assistant the head coaching job at Pitt. "I'm a football guy. People think I'm a hockey guy, but there just happened to be a hockey team for sale first." Almost direct quote. To give the devil his due, just maybe this is his wheelhouse. That, AND he made some good hires and maybe got a little lucky, and reportedly those hires built a firewall of sorts between the owner and them. Meanwhile, back at the waterfront, Terry's a low IQ hockey fan, lowest on this board I'd imagine if he posted here, his resume plateaued in 1990-something when he coached his kid in little guy hockey in Olean. He's in and out of teams, in and out of interest in the Sabres. He's made bad hires and maybe has been unlucky, but no one's THIS unlucky. What explains? Golly gee, I wonder what he's done wrong? And: there's never been a firewall (but hopefully Adams and Karmanos are BUILDING. THAT. WALL.)
  13. One correction to the article. The Sabres' TV market extends outside WNY. I'm in it down here in northern PA.
  14. So OSP and LQ and DD are coming back? Wouldn't be the worst thing. Spending freely has gotten Terry nowhere.
  15. You'll have to connect the dots. Why would gutting the team make it more attractive to new owners?
  16. Annnnnnd Jack never became a Sabre. (Tweet using the other f-word.)
  17. Of course the point of the Joel song wasn't that those who physically die young, are necessarily good, but that some young people give up on life or don't experience life. Paging Virginia...
  18. What's worse than breaking that rule is doing it and pretending no one saw it. Thumbs up!
  19. Banana mime. Violent check into the boards. Discuss.
  20. You're about to get educated!
  21. May I send you our pamphlet?
  22. 11 posts. Stop doubling down.
  23. Assuming that we're trying to end racist gestures in sports, the actions by Ukrainian hockey officials are barely acceptable. But maybe a lot better than we would have seen several years ago. It's kind of a non-starter discussion. No one will defend the player's actions or say the UHL did all it could or should. And there should be little doubt that if something like that happened in the NHL, the punishment would be SEVERE. Not sure where we go from here, especially on the topic of ending racism in the world.
  24. We should be nicer to new people. It was easy enough to miss the last few words of a long thread title. @Never NEVER Give-up I apologize.
