  1. I'll say it again. The NHL should bring back the bench clearing celebration. So awesome.
  2. Sad trumpet sound. There's no data there. And the conclusion seems to be it's good to bet on the home team.
  3. Interesting choice of music.
  4. He doesn't read.
  5. First Game Back is a good hockey cliche. I did some research a while back that somewhat discounted the notion. Still no Rick.
  6. Including Hull's, as it turns out.
  7. How would you like to be paired with Dahlin?
  8. To discuss his hockey IQ. Does he come off as smart? I see you are also not a dad.
  9. More hockey IQ than anything else, but his demeanor and speech make me wonder. And, no, it's not about his command of English. There are many dumb European kids who learn English.
  10. Yours is the only narrative.
  11. The only place where he was trending in that direction was in Swedish YT videos. One can hope. Yesterday was only the first shoe.
  12. The dishonesty is Dan's worst trait. "How is this Sabres-Kraken game still scoreless?!" As if it was a back and forth affair.
  13. This crowd is unbelievable.
  14. Ghost of Yurihickie, in a dream.
  15. I'll buy that.
  16. The Seattle Kraken, official NHL franchise of the Washington State Plumbers Union. Boom! Follow me to GDT glory!
  17. I'm not happy I won't get to see him. I like fresh meat. I do admire Adams for doing what appears to be the right thing. It's a tough spot for the team to be in vis a vis the fanbase. You just traded your franchise center, and there's nothing to see here, folks.
  18. No, it's not. So far, it's crud scraped off the bottom of a mortician's shoe. I have faith that better posts are to come.
  19. It's going to be longer, because this team is going to be in the playoff hunt. (Barring injuries of course; the Sabres are definitely not prone to key injuries at the worst time.)
  20. But the origin story, pretty clearly, is that the Sabres' "brass" identified Eichel as a problem. Just character issues that someone didn't like — or character issues that contributed to losing? I'd bet on the latter. It's professional sports. Within reason, even if Eichel is not a Boy Scout, if the Sabres won with him, he'd still be here.
  21. What weave said. We don't know everything about the team. There's not much doubt left that the organization found out something, specific or in general, about Eichel that it didn't care much for. (inkman version: ...didn't care much.)
