  1. Laughing at me: 1,987.
  2. Correct on the fanbase. And it's a reasonable position for them/it to take. We don't know what Dahlin is when the games really matter. Like so many teams of the past when out of contention, he looks pretty good in the ether. In that respect, if the next 10 years are like the last 10 years, he will be a 31-year-old prospect. A forever prospect. It's also reasonable for fans not to care about Dahlin hype when it has meant exactly nothing where it counts.
  3. The point of this exercise is to put Dahlin on top of the rubbish heap and validate LGR's opinion.

  5. I hope @inkman can find time to stop by and say hello when he's down here. https://www.bradfordera.com/news/slow-moving-superload-coming-through-elk-county/article_43a60795-710a-53ef-82e7-9de0b0cbc7eb.html
  6. Why? I'd kind of like the winner to have earned it. A fan vote? Yuck. What's next? Trying to get Dahlsie into the all star game?
  7. Our little ten boy is all growed uo into an Eleven man, what with the /s and such. He is learning the ways of the worldwide web world!
  8. This is the best articulation I've seen of something I've suspected for... well, for forever. Injury "bugs" are more about talent than bad luck. I always thought of this when on bad Bills team the offensive linemen went down like dominos in the preseason.
  9. I don't hear Allen getting booed. It's not a smart crowd that boos the punter.
  10. It doesn't help that he has a bunch of drunk creeps booing him. I wonder if the Pegulas would sit in that crowd with their kids.
  11. Assist to the fans there.
  12. Another reminder of how good we used to have it. He was a masterful host. Sabres Twitter makes it official.
  13. Jeering the punter? Classy.
  14. Hoo boy, here we go.
  15. This is sharp but not far from reality in the minds of 98% of the fan base. A few dozen folks on a message board who are die-hard fanatics will sift through his game to find positives. Rich from Hamburg, who's been around for awhile, knows what he sees. He's usually not wrong. The average fan was told he'd be a phenomenal offensive wunderkind. They're still waiting to see it on a consistent basis. It's the eye test. Does Dahlin move the meter in terms of wanting to go down to the waterfront to see a fantastic young superstar? Clearly no. They don't care how he uses his inside edge to cross-over and chase the play back up ice — after he tried to bunt a puck out of midair at the blue line and whiffed.
  16. What does Eichel have to do with this topic? Am I missing something? Something's missing alright.
  17. Go on...
  18. No and no.
  19. Moral of the story: never drink Bosnian coffee, at least not without Coffeemate with Hazelnut Artificial Flavoring.
  20. This kind of stuff has been done with every Sabres team in the Internet era and it means absolutely nothing re: chemistry/camaraderie. Back to Teen Beat.
  21. Are there YouTube videos we can watch?
  22. He only read the speech. Someone else wrote it. Most people by now know who's responsible. Darcy was merely offering a warning. He was gone months later, likely because he wanted no part of the "extent of the rebuild." They showed a highlight from 2008 as part of RJ's Last Call. It was 2008, in the wake of losing the co-captains. Sekera scored and the packed house in the background rose up as one. The Pegulas should go to hockey prison for their crimes against this franchise. Are you shocked that the team plays like this under a head coach who couldn't be bothered to be upset by the NHL awarding a goal on a clearly illegal play so some kids could Tik Tok it?
  23. Since when has weather kept fans away? The Pegulas own that wretched sight. When the game's over?
