Apparently there's no correlation.

I just read that there's a top NFL quarterback prospect with a surprisingly small throwing hand. (Hand is measured from the tip of the thumb to the tip of the pinkie finger on an outstretched hand.) He's at about 8.5 inches. Despite thinking I have small hands and despite always having had trouble throwing a football, I was surprised to measure my right hand at 9 inches, in the ballpark of many successful QBs over the years. Joshy? Ten, of course! What else?! What else?!

As an analyst, when a season is lost, don't you weigh that period differently than when a season is new?

I discovered that this morning. It was fine. The "three months later" angle is what always concerns me. Here we are — again — looking for signs of hope in February/March, thinking it will flow nicely into the fall. It never does. While I don't endorse meddling, there's no way a new owner would or should hire someone who's fine with the glacier-like pace of returning NHL hockey to Buffalo. Especially the word grifter.
