To be clear I agree on the early pull. I'm still mad about throwing in the towel. Of course this was always the way back in the day. If you went down by two with even five minutes to play, the announcers, the coaches, everyone thought it was over. That decision and the goalie pulls... Don sure comes off as a dinosaur.
