  1. I was gonna say put the backup QB in to take the snap if there was any doubt about Josh's health, but nah.
  2. Hello Picarcic.
  3. I might be back. ***** me.
  4. Don't be dumb and don't be dirty. Bills were both. Poor Marv.
  5. They already played Allentown. @Sabres Fan in NS
  6. Wild and wacky stuff in OP.
  7. That wasn't bright. Maybe I'm a dinosaur too.
  8. That's beside the point. It's the message you send. We're trying to build a winning culture here. It's like Don is saying, "These kids aren't ready for the emotional jolt of giving up ANOTHER empty net goal and seemingly getting routed after a very close game to that point." He'd surely pull the goalie if it were a playoff game. It's unsettling to say the least. Always a day away.
  9. We went down together. Narrator: No, they didn't.
  10. To be clear I agree on the early pull. I'm still mad about throwing in the towel. Of course this was always the way back in the day. If you went down by two with even five minutes to play, the announcers, the coaches, everyone thought it was over. That decision and the goalie pulls... Don sure comes off as a dinosaur.
  11. Have we no evidence?
  12. It's more about the coach's mindset. You fight until it's hopeless.
  13. No. After it was 3-1.
  14. Playoff game that goalie comes out. Must win situation. That says it all. Don saw all he needed to see... Kids played hard. Barf.
  15. Lol. He didn't pull him at all! The Sabres had clear control in the o zone after the penalty. Plenty of time left.
  16. Please tell me why you wouldn't pull the goalie there. That's quitting. Sorry.
  17. Didn't know that could be challenged.
  18. I just hope that won't be his Sabres epitaph.
  19. Now this is hockey!
  20. Terrific by Anderson. At that age, wow.
  21. "When a player is injured so that he cannot continue play or go to his bench, the play shall not be stopped until the injured player’s team has secured control of the puck. If the player’s team is in control of the puck at the time of injury, play shall be stopped immediately unless his team is in a scoring position. In the case where it is obvious that a player has sustained a serious injury, the Referee and/or Linesman may stop the play immediately."
  22. There's no way they stop the game had the Sabres gotten control.
  23. Not if it's something truly serious.
  24. Nah. He was still playing hockey
