That's the fun of it and why I chafe against timelines.

A cohesive fourth line playing a certain style that Lindy envisions could have an outsized impact on things. Their play could wear down the opponent and ripple through the rest of the lines. On the surface it's smart. Zucker is fine. Reimer is possibly a big move bc Levi probably isn't ready. KA is willing to block a prospect. That's a pretty big change. Lindy. All in all these are modest steps toward some return to normalcy. If KA can do more, it could become time to get geuinely excited. Sports is replete with examples of teams that regressed one year then jumped leaps and bounds. You'd have to have a youngin or two or three really pop, but that happens, too. The players we crave might already be here, about to shed their skin. Cherries on top might wait for @Taro T suspected timeline to make a real push. I'm not clinically depressed. I'll be at the home opener for sure.

The Sabres receive revenue sharing funds, no? So they must either meet the requirement to average at least 75% of the average per game gate around the league or... They qualify for Industry Growth Fund monies to try and grow their revenues, stipulations of which include submitting a three year business plan to the Revenue Sharing Oversight Committee, which CAN oversee and evaluate the plan, which CAN result in revenue sharing going away. If the IGF/RSOC thing was happening, I think we would have heard about it. So it's pretty safe to assume that although the Sabres aren't snowblowing money into HRR, they are doing the minimum ask.

Not sure if Adams is really going after major moves or he's doubling down on the status quo and covering his tracks with a desperate fan base. Heavens, the negativity. I choose not to live like this. It's just a game.

Perhaps drill a little deeper.
