Where did dad go?

Let's change the parameters and see if the idea holds up/remains perfectly acceptable for our society: "As world-renowned experts continue to be perplexed as to why Covid-19 is largely killing and disabling the young, whites and the wealthy, today hundreds of public health experts argued for a return to normal for the rest of the American population: people of color, the poor and the elderly have had enough. As Jean English of Maple Manor, an assisted living home in Wheeling, West Virginia, exclaimed, 'I just want to go back to Cracker Barrel with my girl friends! And I'm tired of sending my grandsons $10 every year anyway!" Well, does it hold up?

The commentary indeed is focused on, or at least touches on, government response (politics!) to the virus, and thus should be deleted/moved based on longstanding policy here.

And that's how you do it, son. That's a good, specific mission statement tailored to fit a younger subset of player.

Wow, that is some drivel. There aren't enough eye rolls/eggplant emojis/animated turd gifs for any pro athlete under the age of 27-ish. Poorly written, cliché-filled, useless rubbish. A friend of mine sent me that and I refused to believe it emanated from the Sabres front office. I should have known better.

What mistakes do you think they made? From my nearby perch, I've been impressed by the Catt Co. health department. You have everything a small county in PA doesn't seem to have — drive-up testing, transparent reporting, robust contact tracing etc. What blame should be assigned to the people for not listening to obvious advice? 303 cases and 9 deaths seems like a lot. And any idea how so many healthcare workers got infected so quickly?

10/6, to avoid any confusion.

You and Michael Moore. I don't see the logic behind it.

Beautiful fall day. They don't get much better than this.

Tampering, no? -
Bianca Bogosian? I wonder how you and Radar have lasted this long. I honestly don't get the sentiment. Eichel is the one who will end your fandom?

That looked familiar.

This contract is going to look very good in the rear-view mirror. Back to you, Irv! -
I bought some free-range brown eggs and got these weird brown flecks when I cracked them. I've seen these flecks in free-range/cage-free/organic eggs but never in regular old (cheap) commercial eggs. So I had to google it. Before eating. It's blood from a ruptured vessel as the egg is forming in the reproductive tract. Lovely. I got most of it out, no mean feat, but couldn't get the idea of it out of my mind as I ate the eggs. So much for doing the right thing.

I thought you were worldly. That's a Maddow.

I think I know what KPIs are.

I'd feel more comfortable speaking to him or her directly.

I've had three cut open and drained. They invert your eyelids. Pretty cool. I don't remember mine being painful. They say hot compresses can help, but they didn't help me. I saw an eye doctor for dry eye and she straightened me out and I haven't had one since. Cleaning of the eyelids with hypochlorous acid seems to do the trick. It reduces the bacterial load and keeps the oil-producing meibomian gland orifices open (and the cleaning of the lids with a Q-tip might manually move the stagnant oil around). Hot compresses followed by gently massaging/expressing the glands and omega 3 supplements (flaxseed or fish oil seem to improve the viscosity of the oil) also might help. Low dose antibiotics (low enough that they don't even have antibacterial properties) reduce inflammation if the underlying problem is posterior blepharitis. Do you have rosacea? Dry eye? Woody and Brawndo might give out advice for free, but I want paid for this *****!

Master of the strawman. Strawmaster, perhaps. Not to speak for PF, but the criticism isn't about having a marketing department. It's of the need to "develop" a fanbase in what is universally considered a great hockey market. Only one thing is missing, and we all know what it is. If Guinness started making ***** beer, you wouldn't insult the people of Ireland by naming a director of drinker development.
