THE SOUL OF THIS FRANCHISE MUST BE RESTORED! It was somehow lost. This was always the small market team that could. People fell in love with and stayed in love with the Sabres for a reason, and it wasn't winning Cup after Cup. This is job one.

Well, no kidding. Is it your contention that the Lemieuxs and Gretzkys wouldn't have won Cups without good to great supporting casts? Maybe. But an alternate argument is that those supporters were good to great because of The Ones who led the way. Eichel's tide didn't come close to lifting all boats.

I always though this argument was weird. Isn't the idea of being rich that you can live where you want? You can afford the taxes. When is enough money enough? You couldn't get me to live in Florida even if there were no taxes at all (local, state, federal, FICA, sales, gun permit fees etc.).
