Yeah I get it that's how it feels after how long its been however since we are against the cap and I am a fan I am still giving RK a chance to see what he can get out of these players. If you think coaching doesn't matter or RK is wrong guy than nothing will change. He did make some changes. I saw his press conferences where he said they still need to coach and work with the players to cement the way they are trying to get them play. He said they were finally at a point where they felt they could start to alter the line ups and do some things and they looked better. So will it last, dunno but I'm going to continue to watch and hope for the best.. They up against the cap so no help is coming unless there's a an equivalent player for player trade out there. Everyone says its going to take more than one player.

It does if they start to string them together and play this way more than not.. Till then your not wrong either.

Well considering some of the predictions I saw in the GDT when I got in they played a strong game against a top team on the road. Baby steps, PP looked better at times , too many brain farts at the wrong times. Not sure what coaching can fix that so maybe that's part of the problem. Too may dumb players. I am going to keep watching this now to see which players have the best IQ.

Yeah, what you said earlier has me watching all the wrong choices, dumb plays I see our players make at key times. The real question is can some of these guys be coached up or are they as smart as their going to get..

Risto and the rat still jawing. That's what he does. With a lead he just keeps gnawing at you to knock you off your game. The smart play is too ignore him and play hockey and beat him on the ice.

Yeah but how can we know he hasn't been. I don't know any coaching style that stresses maximizing the number of touches before taking a clean shot.. This looks like to me this could be a hockey IQ, dumb player brain freeze issue. I think i could devise a brutal practice drill though that would be invoked for every time in a game they do this...

I am curious if more goals are scored on wrist shots or one timers. My guess is good wrist shots. one timers allow goalie to set up

Yeah it was @Brawndo that noted their bottom six scoring is same as Buffalo's but they play better as a team with a Ludicrous top line. I think the difference maybe their hockey IQ player for player appears to be much higher to be able to play that game so well so long. Thats something i hope Buffalo is looking for in its line up more and more. Smart hockey
