Pretty good work there. This is fun to look at after the fact. I was a bit too conservative with my guess's however I was the first one to set a baseline and I think it's easier to see a model and adjust from there vs. making the first. Thats' my Darcy excuse. Only problem now full tale will not be known till off season and possibly trade deadline next year.

Yowsa, this place is a shambles just like like the team, in fighting, name calling, frustration bleeding through. I admit it's hard to watch this team. I watched the Pens destroy WPG last night instead. Now the bad part I have tickets to the Bflo at Pens game Tuesday. The way the Pens are playing as opposed to the Sabres I am feeling embarassed thinking about wearing my Sabre's jersey and may just go incognito. I am not sure I feel like taking the abuse(will definitely hear about the Bills SB failures, etc.). Does that make me a bad fan Bad times indeed.

I admire your positive thinking. I am positive this is the kind of game Buffalo typically has problems with against a team they should be able to beat and a goalie they'll make look like an all star. WPG-Pens for me will scoreboard watch to see if Sabres can keep the ruin for Droin

Win or lose lets see some good hardnosed entertaining hockey. A big improvement I have liked is their ability to push back after a goal or some poor defensive zone play. Please continue to keep Stafford off the ice, haven't missed him one bit. Let's go Buff-a-lo ! .

Well I originally voted "No" to tank because I feel it's wrong to mail it in and not compete, than I read the whole thread and deleted it and changed my vote to "Yes" tank. For me it's not so much about top 3 pick, I do not want DR presiding over another draft for this team and in my mind tanking is the best chance we have of getting TPEGS to finally finish the house cleaning. Along with others I agree the GM and multiple players(core and other's) still need to be purged from this team. I will admit I have enjoyed seeing Rolston actually start making changes to the line up and benching players based on performance. It's been refreshing to see OTT display the kind of hockey I enjoy watching and show me what other players responded and they could build around. That gives me hope that with the right GM and several key moves they could actually put a team together that would challenge for the SC for years to come and be enjoyable to watch.

Best game entertainment they have played this year, came back from being down and kept pushing back. Love to see them take no crap. To bad TO got a point but I'll watch every game win or lose if they put that kind of passion and effort into it. Finally get to go to sleep tonight smiling after a game.

Agreed. The only problem is the guy responsible for the mixing(DR) appears unable to tell a pig from a poke. As always Hope for the best but prepared for more of their worst. Will do scorebaord watching mostly with some peaks to see how good or bad they look at times. If they keep it close they may keep my interest but that is oftem offset but really fugly play taht has me switching to other games to see some inspired hockey. Go sabre's

Good post and the difference I see in the last several games as well. Still some crappy play and lack of overall talent but much more enthusiastic hockey. And isn't this just what a lot of us were saying before, win or lose we wanted to see the team play with some passion.

Ding, ding, ding. Winner. I decided to stop watching for a few games because I found it too aggravating watching the hockey they were playing. I just needed a break from trying to go to bed after a sabres game feeling frustrated. I am happy thry won and sounds like they may have put together a good 60 mins. I still need a break from them and need to hear see more of the same posted before i invest time in them again which takes away from my family. That is all.

+1 Wow, nice total makeover plan and it starts today. Drastic times require drastic measures. I would love to see management pull something off like this. Unfortunately my pessimistic vote doesn't see them doing something this bold or acting quickly.

I voted medium pessimistic. I see the same things TbB and sizzle mention. Some intriging talent with a wrong mix of players, missing the right attitude. By right attitude I mean not enough people in the organization that absolutely hate losing and will do everything in their power to change it. Once Regier is gone, a new coaching staff, the right player moves it's going to take a couple years. Match that to a system that takes advantage of the players skills and supports the youthful learning curve and we are back in it and building towards something instead of always chasing/trying to sneak in and catch lighting in a bottle. IMO, That's a culture change from the team I see now and that will take more changes and time.
