I heard them singing er chanting in the halls at work, If happy in their jobs we see, witches and warlocks they be. Tie a big rock to them and throw in the buffalo river if they float they're not witches.

I am not sure they ever unpacked it be able to say they are now packing it in. Not sure what’s wrong with this mess but something is totally whack. They played better and scored more w/o jack and our top player comes back and they get worse, that’s whack. Phil said something that caught my attention post game, about respecting our goalie more based off horrible defensive play and getting beat to the lanes. Some have suggested Robin is not liked by his team and I have to really wonder how many of these guys really like each other and truly care about “the team”. When I keep hearing all these coaches and players saying similar things around play for each other, respect the team, hold each other accountable, blah, blah, I have to assume this team epitomizes dysfunctional. This is hockey hell.

Yes that's how it appears but that is back a$$wards to me and I don't understand why they would do that. Yes are they are expecting him to do it all ? I have to wonder, is that something Phil is preaching or these players just doing that ? There never was a successful one person team and there never will be. They need to figure this out and the coaches should be helping them do that.

Well if your going down that line of thinking, the overall scoring for the whole team is off since Jack got back. Is it me or does it appear we get too many passengers on the team deferring, waiting and watching him play. Maybe we do not have enough skilled players that can anticipate what he is doing or keep up. I dunno but I don't like it if its becoming a pattern.

I rooted for them to win for 2/3 of the season and they lost more than won. I followed what appeared to be the majority of the thread yesterday and rooted for them to lose and they won. Whats left except rooting for them to go to OT/SO for the rest of the season? :P Oh and yes I am completely happy with the win and only 1 point because at this point why not be happy with the lower draft seed when we see how much talent we still need. Agreed, we are seeing some players step up, others digress and some stay the same and that is what I continue to watch for in these remaining games. I really don't and can't root for them to lose but if I can rationalize it to a better future then it makes the wild swings in play and results easier to continue to watch. Last like several other's here have said, please, pretty please continue to play spoiler for the remaining playoff teams they face and especially Toronto... Now that's something they can look back at and build on for the team and players that are still here this time next year.

Now this is a different GDT. Ok then, I'm in with the majority. This is a must lose game. Need to hold on firmly to that last place finish..... Now if this goes like the season has so far, when we all wanted wins we got losses. So if majority here is hoping for a loss I fully expect they'll win...

Yes this is exactly what I saw on this play as well. Anderson went at Larry to stop him down and when he realized he whiffed he dropped like a wet dish rag.

Me thinks the league scheduled it like this expecting the Sabres to be playing better than they have. The idea being with playoffs on line within the division between two rivals this is where you usually get some good spirited play.. Lets Go Buffalo Yes, and double yes. I really do not like the leafs fans from my days at games in the Old Memorial Aud. IMHO between the trash talking and almost brawls they are the least hospitable of our Canadian fan neighbors.

Man oh man we sure do love ourselves some Sabres Hockey here. I only wish the passion you all displayed for the treatise you guys have poured out here was shared by the same hockey players and team we all love to hate right now. Oh I get it but I just can't get that worked up anymore over something truly outside my ability to control that has been going on this long. Please carry on!

Well call me a homer but I will root for my second favorite team that's in it since I live in Daberg Pens vs Vegas Marc Andre against his old team and he wins it for Vegas.

Yes at least there is a little hope in the pipeline for the team. Looks like a Darcy long shot may have finally payed off with Linus being a 6th rounder in 2012. And begrudgingly XGMTM did good for once picking Guhle in the 2nd in 2015, looks like he's the defensive minded Dmen he was looking for.

Glad to see the symbolism was noticed and I would say he did add a spark. Best looking goaltender I've seen for Buffalo this year. But agree with all here who say send him back to Amerks to let him and Guhle continue to play in a positive winning atmosphere.
