  1. I'll have MSG Go running on my phone (hopefully) and CBS on the antenna. That might flip if the antenna craps out.
  2. Half-way extravaganza!
  3. It'd be awful if Belichick was in the NFC. Just awful.
  4. Would any on them be able to stop the Jag's running game?
  5. If nothing else, I'm pretty sure the NFL doesn't do evening Sunday games in the playoffs, it should have been a 7PM start.
  6. IBM spent a lot of time working on things like feel, and for the old screens, font legibility. They went way further than "does it work? ship it!"
  7. That's awesome Josie! Find an industry that's under-served and bring something unique to it; great idea! I dusted off my favorite keyboard today, and I forgot how much I love this thing. I haven't had my desktop set up at home for a few years and have been just using whatever laptop has been around (mostly work-issued). The only bittersweet part of this keyboard is it's a PC101 (no Windows keys[0]) so it's a little annoying as I've gotten used to a few keyboard shortcuts that use them. I think I'm in the market for a new PC104 USB version of this same keyboard. [0] This keyboard almost predates Windows (it predates Windows 2.0). It certainly predates many posters here. It predates Thurman Thomas being a Bill. It remembers the Bills being great. The day after it was built, the Sabres lost to the Minnesota North Stars 5-4 in the Aud. Phil Housley and Scott Arniel scored goals early in the third to tie it up, but Minnesota scored a PPG with 8 minutes left and didn't look back. Sabres Captain Lindy Ruff had an assist on Arneil's SHG. This keyboard is 30 years old, and still works like new. https://www.hockey-reference.com/boxscores/198711130BUF.html
  8. Make sure to keep an eye out for the season half-way point Lost Point Countdown thread retrospective extravaganza! (Just kidding, I will do the math after the game, however).
  9. Maybe the Sabres could pry an Orca out of Marineland. (I may be dating myself, does that place still exist?)
  10. Heh, sharp-shooter Parros. I thought MythBusters did a segment on this too, but I can't fnid it.
  11. Bomb is apparently an actual meteorological term in use for nearly 40 years. This time around Big Weather's hype-machine got a hold of it like it's a shiny new toy. https://www.popsci.com/bomb-cyclone#page-6
  12. I stayed home from work today. Not much snow, but my 30+ mile commute was almost entirely red for traffic, I have to assume from the 20+ MPH winds blowing snow around.
  13. Gorges is likely gone, Johnson, Moulson is kinda-gone (he counts as roster turnover even if he's still on the cap). Kane, Lehner (?), and who else? It may be easier to figure out who stays. :)
  14. Points aren't the only measure of a player. A 55-point player that cannot play a lick of D and a two-way forward that also generates 55 points are of different value. ROR is closer to the latter than the former.
  15. The Jack-trick vs. O'Reilly's roof would have been a tougher decision.
  16. I'm not sure if it's my new monitor or I never noticed before, but for the GOTY videos youtube keeps giving me 720p60 or 1080p60 video options (60 frames per second) and, ohhhh mmyyyy, is it pretty. Also: new monitor is awesome. It's a relatively cheap 27" 4K LG, but it's just so nice to work on. If I end up work from home 100%, I'd be really tempted to get a second one.
  17. I know I did, and I was wrong. Good call on your part.
  18. In South Carolina? Since forever. :)
  19. It seems like I remember people claiming some arenas shots (and hits) are more generous than others. IIRC, MSG is generous for shots to make Lundqvist look good.
  20. Maybe the Sabres could bring in Halak and he'd actually play a game!
  21. And here I was listening to Thick as a Brick this morning in the car. The CD version (which I've ripped) is one track, 45 minutes.
  22. Get all your Winter Storm Methesula news right here on NBC 10!
  23. I was surprised too. Also, only three of the six (Elway #1, Marino #27, and Kelly #14) had what I'd call good careers. The other guys I didn't know (although Eason did lead 86 Pats to the Superbowl (and got blown out like 154-10)).
