  1. Look "Forward" and lines combos maybe? I'm just winging it here.
  2. Don Cherry Exhibit:
  3. Coverage: As someone mentioned, NBC Sports has full replays. I can see them through my Roku; I'd assume they're also available on their website but I haven't looked. Presumably, there are no interruptions but I don't know for sure. I was watching they ski jumping yesterday (live) and there was a lot of nothing going on and the announcers were just prattling away instead of cutting to some other event.
  4. Let's see: slow to track the puck, puts skate against the post, waves arm around leaving a gigantic hole. Yep, that's the one.
  5. Seems like this is DOA with the Rangers announcing they're rebuilding, no? They're sellers.
  6. Maybe he'll demand a trade to Buffalo.
  7. They only have one way to go, as I'm completely uninterested in the NBA. :)
  8. I haven't looked, but I think there aren't that many teams that have multiple guys over 60 points. What the Sabres do need are a bunch of guys that can score at a 60-point pace for a few weeks at a time. There's enough overlap that it looks like 2-3 more 60 point meta-players.
  9. Aldi facts! - Aldi and Trader Joe's are owned by brothers that decided to split the company; in Germany they two chains are known as Aldi North and Aldi South. - Aldi does adjust some selection based on the area, but the one near me (in the poorest area of the county) isn't that much different than the one down the street from the gigantic new Whole Foods in Fancytown. - It's almost all generic brands, but usually not bad. The salmon isn't that good, and on a few occasions I've found expired food on the shelf; you're paying yourself to be vigilant.
  10. I ran across a calculator checklist somewhere near that form (it might be via the WorkPeople site, look under Pay and Benefits). I think I take something like 5 deductions based on that calculation and essentially get no return now. The big return was fun, but getting an extra 8% or so each check was even better. I should probably run it again; I'm not sure it'll be worth my time to itemize any more with the tax changes (renting: here I come!).
  11. FWIW, overpaying is almost never the right solution; you're giving the government an interest-free loan. Consciously underpaying I think is illegal though, so you're generally best off thinking through your deductions and making your best guess. I've never had to pay a significant amount into taxes on my return, but coming up with a bunch of cash would be scary. Of course, I'm no CPA. They're the all the same, although Costco seems to be a little better about Organic and/or healthy items in terms of food.
  12. And one that's UFA this season (and unlikely to sign, given the last go-around). Yep; LI needs to send more back.
  13. I dunno, a Godfather-style Jabba movie...
  14. I'm pretty sure you're correct; this is all Disney. Saw the movie Friday, went into it completely cold; unbelievably I managed to not hear any spoilers (it helps to talk to very few people in social contexts at times). It was fine. I don't feel as strongly about it as many of the opinions here; that may be affected by have a strong beer or two before the movie and a beer during[0]. I had no problem with Rose, BTW. Besides being the same name as my daughter, movies can't have enough competent femaile roles. Functionally, it could have been Poe or Chewey or whatever, but having a woman come to the aid of some dude is something that needs more play. [0] Movie Tavern. Seems like a great idea, but beer and theaters don't mix; I spent the middle of the movie debating on another beer (no) and the last 20 minutes waiting for my bladder to explode. Movies need intermissions if they're going to serve alcohol.
  15. That's actually pretty cool. And it's not a common name like Gord Smith or something.
  16. FTFY. (Unless you prefer the "One Defends and the other Conquers")
  17. I've listened to a few of the games called by Reese when doing yard work; he calls a good game in an old-school style.
  18. Agree. I vote for Larssssson.
  19. On the bright side, it snowed then rained here all day, so it's unlikely they'll burn the city down tonight.
  20. Hebrew National are turrible. If I wanted something that tastes like Hillshire Farm Polish sausage, I'd just buy that.
  21. BPA: having a player that makes the NHL takes precedence over taking the guy you needed that has a higher chance of not making the NHL. Given how non-deterministic NHL drafting is, you just have to pick the guy that's the best chance of making it. Loading up on AHL snipers is the same as passing on those draft picks.
  22. I'd assume it's like watching pro-level darts where at least 2 of the 3 throws hit triple-twenty, right?
  23. I'm not sure JR is a troll most of the time just an older guy with older-guy style opinions about hockey.
  24. Realistically, the deputy is wrong from a legal perspective. As much as anyone flying a Nazi (or Confederate) flag is a moron, they have the right to proclaim how much of a moron they are.
  25. It's a shame Sam is terrible and will never be an NHL player. (did I do that right?)
